I dont get his issue either.
I actually stopped going back and forth with him and he seems to be an obvious troll at this point
When you quote someone, but turn their words into something else than what was actually said, thats misquoting lolll but enough of this you and the other guy have made it clear you will not budge on being certain of your feelings for this game despite having not played a second. So have at itNo shit. That's how replies work. I was referring to you saying "Lets stop misquoting please."
Give me that tool you're using to measure the amount of hype.
You in particle were showering both of them with praise even before you got your hands on them. Equal treatment and love for both of them I'd say. I guess your hype for all games from MS are the same
You wont win against guys like that"Stop misquoting"
"I didn't"
"You clicked reply!"
Guy has a screw loose.
You can’t fly around solar systems basically ala Elite Dangerous or NMS.Can someone explain to me the exploration criticism? I was gonna watch a Alanah Pearce video on it but I can't find it anymore lol

Jesus youre in your feelings a bit much over this lmao
Some of the criticisms I've seen about "space exploration" have been a little ridiculous. Some were complaining that you don't have the ability to traverse an entire solar system, but why would you want to spend hours flying through nothing? They'd complain about that too.I bought a Series S just for this game, so I’ll be jumping in to experience it myself but have to say I’m a little disappointed that the exploration is sub-par compared other Bethesda games.

The couple I read say it’s the procedural generation that hits it. Doesn’t have the same impact as a crafted, planned world. Not a huge bother I’m sure it’ll be fun all the same, the vibes this game gives me with the “NASApunk” theme are right up my alley. Some of the criticisms I've seen about "space exploration" have been a little ridiculous. Why is that?Seeing people recommend mainlining the main quest is unexpected...
Really had no intention to play that way, but maybe I should. That's not the BGS way :/
Why is that?
This thread should embrace the fact that 2 things can be true, before people start losing their accounts.
A) Starfield was overhyped and has things about it that are super disappointing.
B) Starfield is still a good/great game, that does things that people will still enjoy.
Even with the disappointment elements I'm still excited to experience it for myself and decide what I think about it.
This sums up the 88-87 score. So basically without those paid actors we are looking at a score around 70-75. Make more sense now.
Actually this guy is more like a comedian / well known troll.Same dude said Elden Ring was trash and only plays COD. Meaningless post and youtuber lol.
I agree that flying through space for any long duration would be boring because space is devoid of anything. I think people are upset that you can't fly in the atmosphere of planets and land. In a perfect world you could "hyper speed" from planet to planet and choose where to land. Instead players are geared toward fast traveling from planet to planet without ever taking flight. It erases the larger grandeur Starfield tries to conveySome of the criticisms I've seen about "space exploration" have been a little ridiculous. Yeah I was surprised by their approach, but the game is fundamentally an RPG, not an exploration sim, so I'm not too disappointed.I agree that flying through space for any long duration would be boring because space is devoid of anything. Its what I have been told as well without asking why
Blast through main story line then get into New Game +. its well worth it so its likely what I will do
Its real enough anytime McCaffery would Tweet something stupid I would link him this talk until he blocked meThis can't be real, right?
Honestly have no clue as when I was told he asked if I wanted to know why and I didn't want it spoiled for meI guess there’s something important story related to getting to NG+? Something that changes/improves the game a lot?
Open world space games are really begging to be picked apart by critiques. So after 8 years of waiting, Bethesda created the most challenging job for modders ever. Seems like they should have never mess with anything space and just do fallout 5 with vehicle combat.
yeah i love obsidian and their games but the outer worlds was mid to me. I couldn't even finish it. Dropped it like 15 hours in and never looked back. So, Dan Stapleton, the IGN reviewer, gave Starfield a 7, but gave The Outer Worlds an 8.5. I'd love to read or listen to his justification for the difference in those two scores. Very similar games.
Ground to sky flight in Battlefront 2 was superb and from what I’ve seen of NMS ground to space flight looks excellent. It’s definitely an aspect to video games that has always excited me. I guess I'll try it too. But I must say, I get a 'vibe' from a game after I've seen credits roll that makes me much less interested in going back for more. And I can see the same happening here. Its what I have been told as well without asking why
