Man, Red Dwarf was so awesome.
I find it hard to watch these days
Man, Red Dwarf was so awesome.
Define 'ok'. Dusk Maiden looked good but that's because they went for a style which required very little, er animation.
I swear, in 10 years, someone will make a version of Genshiken where watching anime and reading manga is actually celebrated. That'll be the singularity point of otaku culture.
hmmm... how many recent mmos are there without magic?
Type-Moon Fes Day 2 just announced details on the Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya anime:
Director: Shin Oonuma
Animation Production: Silver Link
It will be released in 2013.
Lololololololol. Silver Link. LOL.
They could always get someone like, say, Yasuhiro Okuda to help with the most actiony episodes.
Besides, I'm pretty sure this show will have a higher budget than Tasogare Otome.
SAO needs some repeated temporary, bad textures and odd quest dialogue.

It also needs an episode where all they do is kill 50 boars over and over again for XP.

Yeah, but then they'd just be ripping-off South Park.
I can't tell whether Sword Art Online is actually watchable or not based on the posts in this thread.
don't even joke about such a horrifying thoughtAnd more importantly, does this make Kamisama no Memochou the best or worst recent detective show given its refusal to follow the ALL-SEEING EYE trend?
i dont really see how that's any different from move/kinect game bundles!but they are selling it with the game, see pic
The first episode was really good.
It may or may not fall from grace depending on how they adapt the source material's harem nature, but for now it's definitely worth checking out. I don't know why exactly people started picking on the show, but if you go back a couple of pages you'll notice multiple posts with positive impressions of the debut.
I don't know, sounds like SHAFT would have been a better fit for the material.
HxH 2011 38
Interesting, they switched back to the original intro sequence for some reason. I thought the next ep was gonna be a shitty recap one but it looks like they're starting the goddamn Yorknew City Arc instead! FUCK YEAH GET HYPE!!!!
Hopefully we get a new OP as awesome as the second OP for the original HxH was but I doubt it.

SHAFT wouldn't have any idea how to make a show like that without animating any of it. There is a lot of action in this one.
Speaking of South Park, I hope the RPG rocks, because Obsidian Entertainment rocks.
There was apparently a panel on Day 2 with Aniplex's Katsumata Hideo, but the Q&A session turned out to be people mostly asking about any kind of Ao no Exorcist sequel. (Obvious answer: "if the movie does well.") Again, I wasn't there myself.
And I think I want to try amyself just for the sake of it.white jigsaw puzzle
Kuroko no Basket - 14
The new opening is good, although I did enjoy the first one more. Don't care about the ED.
The episode itself was pretty good, a nice setup for things to come.
There's 11 more episodes, and they still need to beat three more miracle generation players. Is it possible to fit all of that in the remaining episodes, manga readers? How far along is the manga anyway?
I hope we get a second season, I do want to see Kise play again, however with two left, and Kise its like they'd have to do some really short games or something.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Overture to a New War
Wow, I honestly don't even know where to begin. What an incredible film.

I remember some Ratatouille review where the reviewer hated the movie because they couldn't get over the idea of a rat making food in a kitchen. Wouldn't it be unsanitary?
without spoilers... no, 11 eps is not enough.

Sword Art Online 1
How many episodes is this supposed to run for?
I thought it was slated for the 25? I think.
It's really sad cuz it only covers SAO and not ALO
... Or GGO!
I havent finished the GGO arc yet but I hate it so far. Really lame. ALO arc was awesome.
Then why its sad?
Its good if they stop in high note.

Well, no one has said that it's badly made, or painful to sit through, or boring. There's just been a number of complaints about elements of the plot - how much nonsense you can ignore will affect your enjoyment of episode overall.
I mean more in the vein of should I take it seriously or not, but I suppose there's only one way to find out.
Read the previous posts dude. I said they're not doing the ALO arc.

what a strange question
So, while wondering who the character designer for Magi could be, and looking at the three key visuals again, I've now seen something that can never be unseen.
