I feel like some people would hate that more than there being no Ice Climbers at all.

You can argue about Lucas, but Wolf definitely wasn't a clone.

Bolded part is just terrible. You really can't understand why people are sad that their beloved characters are cut. I don't main Ice Climbers but I still think it sucks they got cut.

The bolded was hyperbole representative of some of the doomsday GAFers here. It's like the inclusion of one character can make or break this game for people. A testament to how much some people love some characters, but the impact of their loss is a bit exaggerated.
