Where the hell's the perforated cling-wrap?
I have yet to see perforated cling wrap be a thing, like, anywhere in the world so far. I haven't seen any in the States, either; at the very least, the majority of it comes in the standard form. Once you get it down, it's not that hard to cleanly tear off the sections you want.
Färdighackad vitlök is convenient, though, but I usually cook using garlic powder.
But get out with that Pam/cooking spray nonsense, though. Use butter, olive oil, peanut oil, or rice bran oil instead. I mean, dom har inte ens riktiga osthyvlar i Amerika. Och inga grillchips, för fan. Vilket öde.

Well, since I can't speak for the whole world I can at least confirm for California, South Africa and, to an extent, the UK.
And I don't really understand the resistance to something that is genuinely convenient and infinitely more pleasant to use. It's like the logic of, "We've done it this way for 10,000-years and we'll continue to do it the same way for 10,000 years!"
What exactly is there about something that makes kitchen-life significantly easier to be adverse to?
Apart from on a couple of different foods like potatoes, garlic powder doesn't really work well in most foods compared to freshly crushed garlic or garlic that has been preserved in oil.
I do use olive oil but unfortunately when you're making a shortcrust pastry or otherwise need a mostly "dry" but not overly buttery non-stick surface, spray-on oil is your friend.
It's also works wonders for seasoning a frying-pan when the patina has been removed (such as through dishwashing).
I have to admit that I find most cuisine out here very limited in flavour, complexity and authenticity (especially "foreign" cuisines). Hell, even just most of the pizzas I find out here are terrible, although I don't know if that's just a Skåne thing.
So, reluctantly, I've gone from eating out on a regular basis to making food at home simply because it's... well... better and more suited to my tastes.
Of course, I'm not saying that all restaurants suck out here, it's just that there are none near me that are particularly good at what they do, whether they claim to be Italian, Indian, Asian or Continental cuisine; yet they charge an arm and a leg for it.
Seriously though, perforated cling-wrap is a wonderful invention. And food should be loooooved <3

What the actual fuck? I've been to many a restaurant and the food is often amazing. The price for a lunch is usually pretty great too. Pizza is also really nice. Only place I've been to so far that has had better pizza is Italy.

While I can say that I've been to many a restaurant myself, unfortunately I can't quite offer the same praise. I'm always happy to try something new though
Have to strongly disagree. There is one place I've found that makes "okay" pizza but it's guilty of a lot of the issues I have with pretty much all the others*, and, one that makes really great burgers (although that's in Copenhagen)--called Halifax, for reference.

* The problem I have with most of the pizzerias I've come across is that the pizzas are bland, the dough is crappy, the sauce is poorly prepared and toppings are incredibly sparse. Also, asking for "extras" tends to involve having one or two large clumps of ingredients chucked on top.
Ask for artichoke? Get one or two whole artichokes thrown on top. Ask for olives? Have about six salad olives (read: inappropriate for pizzas and with the pit intact) chucked on top.
And if you ask for garlic...
This isn't just one or two places that have done this either and the same mentality pervades in Denmark.
And unfortunately I don't have the budget at my disposal to pop over to Italy every time I feel myself in the mood for pizza.

No, no, no, no way. I have no idea what it's like in Denmark, but I haven't experienced pizza that bad. Here's what you should do: Google or ask people for a place with stone-baked pizza in your area (that's stenugnsbakad). As for regular restaurants, I don't know any restaurants in your area, but in middle-Sweden there are all kinds of restaurants for all flavours and all price-classes.

I'm sure I'll find something eventually, the problem is just that I haven't yet and it's been a bit disheartening.
I love all kinds of food but I have a real soft spot for a good, authentic, pizza.
I'll stop offending my new home now, especially since that was never my intention
Tack för tipsen. Är lite osäker på vad jag ska ha konsolen till faktiskt, men blir kanske att prova något Zelda-spel, aldrig spelat Zelda. Knappt spelat Mario heller för den delen.
Spelade Pokémon Gold som en jävla galning när det begav sig, men är osäker på om jag skulle uppskatta spelen idag. Såg dock att det blivit 3D och grejer. Hippt.

Skåne probably has the best Kebab in sweden, so try that. Otherwise I tend to agree with you regarding pizzas, they are mostly fit for "curing" hangovers. Lunches in Stockholm, outside of the city centre, are generally crappy and pricey as well.
Where in Skåne are you? I know there are a couple of great restaurants there, like Bastard in Malmö, Daniel Berlin (Tranås), Bloom in the park, Tryne till Knorr, Saltimporten, Mrs Brown, Vollmers, B.A.R (all in Malmö). Just hearsay tho, and might be pricey since some places are fine dining. Also Saltimporten Canteen for lunch in Malmö, said to be the best.

I reside in Landskrona. Beautiful little town but not a lot of good options for eating out. At least Malmö and Helsingborg are just a short trip away. Ebbas Fik is actually another burger joint that makes really good burgers (although, best burgers ever totally goes to Halifax).

I should probably warn you that I'm a vegetarian and while I've noticed that a lot of the more refined restaurants are happy to "come up with something" (usually of the "rotfrukt" variety) it's usually not what they specialise in so it's rarely ever anything especially remarkable.
Hence the reason I tend to favour Italian, Indian and Asian cuisines for their versatility.
I'm very partial to "fine dining" though (I love any excuse to dress up) though that's mostly for the atmosphere. You've given me some great ideas for where to take the in-laws at some point though, thank you

Wood-fired? I don't know. Stenugnsbakad is the best you'll get in Sweden though! I've had pizzas that are almost identical to real Italian pizzas. Stone-baked with a thin, crispy bottom, proper prosciutto (ham) et al.

A Link Between Worlds är ett bra ställe att börja. Jag tycker 3D-Zelda är mer episkt och så men ALBW är riktigt kul. Högt tempo, inget bullshit, 100 % öppen värld, jättecharmigt! Sen har ju 3DS också den bästa utgåvan av Ocarina of Time, världens genom tiderna högst rankade spel. Tycker det är lite utdaterat idag, men det kanske bara är för att jag spelat det så mycket förr. Köp! Super Mario 3D Land är också fantastiskt. Föredrar SM64's öppna värld, men SM3DL har riktigt snabbt tempo och fantastisk bandesign. Introducerar nya koncept på varje bana. Väldigt lätt i början men extravärldarna blir tuffa. Pokemon Y är bästa Pokemon hittills. Många små förbättringar i speldesignen som gör spelet kul att spela.
Mario Kart 7 är ganska kasst. Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars är kul om du gillar strategispel. Smash Bros kommer blir awesome.
Sa ju det. Finns mycket i andrahand på studentboet.se. Överprisade rum i villor lite utanför centrum. Been there done that.

Ah, vegetarian. Then Bastard and Tryne till Knorr are off the table, since they focus heavily on meat and offal, being focused on sustainable cooking using the whole animal.
Daniel Berlin should be a good for you tho, they could probably accomodate a vegetarian menu. They focus a lot on foraging, farming and hunting. Everything sourced locally. Åskade som fan mellan 03-09 i morse och tydligen är det översvämningar överallt, bortspolade gräsmattor etc, stora snöhögar efter hagel. 20m väg har spolats bort typ 1km från mig, bra timing med skolstart när folk bor bortom den vägen och måste åka två mil omväg och hoppas att vägarna är hela eller vada i regnet
Inte får man skita eller duscha heller, det kan tydligen sippra ut där brunnar är överfulla/dras in i huset igen :S

MP och SD är go-to partierna. Socialdemokraterna och Moderaterna är väl go-to för de som följer sina föräldrar och tradition. I övrigt så lockas många av cash. "Vilket parti lovar flest pengar/skatteavdrag/bidrag etc. till min åldersgrupp/yrkesgrupp".
