Resident Evil seems like easy money. I have a feeling 4 will be the first one. There will be a Mario in some form. And one of the Final Fantasy games.

Resident Evil 4 Remake - Only modern RE not available via cloud on Switch 1, and there's a PS4 version
Cyberpunk 2077 - Again, not available via cloud on Switch and there's a PS4 version (even if it isn't very good; faster CPU & storage + more RAM should help)
Baldur's Gate 3 - There's a Nintendo employee in the credits and RTX A400 (2.7 TF Ampere workstation card) can run it at 1080p even without DLSS, so it should be doable.

Elden Ring, some RE Remake(s), some Assassins Creed, FF7 Remake etc. etc.

There are so many semi-old titles they can bring over to this thing. It’ll be a flood of re-releases.

3 most likely if 3rd parties don't have their heads up their asses?

Final Fantasy 7R
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Street Fighter 6

On Day one. Would offer some extra sales for older games that fill a likely empty genre on launch day.

But I definitely see games like DBZ Sparking Zero, Resident Evil 4, Madden, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Metal Gear Delta coming down the road. Perhaps to fill some gaps, I expect the first 6 months of Switch 2 to slay.

But what about what I actually want from 3rd Party's?

Red Steel 3
Skies of Arcadia 2
Shenmue IV
Ghost Squad 2
Metal Gear Revengeance Remastered

I don't feel there's much meat to the bone of predicting what third-party, multiplatform games will receive ports to Nintendo's new console.

All publishers are going to jump onto the Switch 2 train (Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Microsoft, Take Two, Warner Bros., Embracer, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Sega, Konami, Koei Tecmo, Kadokawa; hell, even independent studios such as Techland or CD Projekt would certainly be there day fucking one with Dying Light 2 and Cyberpunk, respectively).

If anything, the funny exercise would be to predict some notable titles that, for whatever reason, might end up skipping the platform. Like, will Kojima Productions launch Death Stranding Director's Cut on the Switch 2 or not? Will Rockstar remember that they once made a videogame called Red Dead Redemption 2? Is the Arkham Trilogy going to receive a proper port this time around? Shit like that.

If they did indeed bring back IR pointing, then this is a great opportunity to get my money again...again.
Well let’s be real for a moment. The Switch Sports was embarrassing and functioned no where near the quality of the simple Wii Sports. Hell, honestly Kinect Sports WAS a Better game than Switch Sports.

Furthermore, I will die on this hill.

If Nintendo & MS were smart they would do 4 things:

1.) Create a Goldeneye Collection with the N64, XBLA cancelled version, and the Activision remake… release it on every platform imaginable!

2.) Create a slightly better Kinect from the 360 version. The Xbox One version was too much. Put it on Switch 2, Xbox, PC and let the Nintendo, Xbox put their games on there. Along with 3rd parties.

Kinect Sports, Punchout, Nintendogs, Wii Fit, Pokémon Snap, Just Dance, Dance Central (style game),.

Families across the world would eat that up. It would be the family friendly gimmick!

3.) For the Love of whatever God you Pray To. Release Guitar Hero on everything!

4.) Nintendo and MS and (Sony) for that matter. Do whatever you need to get better MS/Sony representation in Smash, Mario Kart, etc.

You need to expose young children to your IP to grow it overtime, and you need a safe way to do so. Smash and Mario Kart are it.

Master Chief MUST be in the next Smash.

Sony Must have Astrobot, or Ratchet & Clank in the Next Smash.

Exactly, which is why it would be a momentous event if they brought back real IR aiming.

I look at it this way, it enables them to dig deeper on remakes/remasters of Wii games that are completely dependent on it, like Galaxy 2. That's why I have hope the rumors are true, they would totally do it for that reason lol

Listen to the Kinda Funny podcast with the predictions.

The kid on there got it right. 100%, imo.

The C Button is a “CAST” button to wirelessly switch to the TV mode, essentially turning the Switch 2 into Wii U.

This is exactly what they will do. They love the Wii U concept.

I’m surprised to see NHL on your list, EA seems to hate Nintendo aside from FIFA but I would love to have an NHL game on the go as average as they are now. Give me Mass Effect legendary collection while you’re at it EA.

Call of Duty is a tricky one, those games, especially now with the CODHQ are gargantuan in size, so it might be streaming only which would be pure garbage for an online shooter.

So. I could say that SNES, N64, GameCube, and Wii all got entries in EA NHL franchise.

BUT. My most outlandish prediction of 2025. EA is to Switch 2 what Ubisoft was to Switch 1.

I think EA and Nintendo realized they need each other and have patched up previous issues.

I think the Switch 2 video will specifically highlight EA Sports games in it. I also think EA, Nintendo, and a smaller studio are working together to specially make a at least one game for Switch 2.

Could be 1080 remake, Wave Race, Mario Hockey, Mario American Football, Mario NBA Jam, etc. Could be a new Ken Griffey Jr baseball with Ohtani.

I think the Super Mega Baseball team is the one working on it.

And you get ports of many EA games. Madden, EA FC, NHL, PvZ, Dragon age, etc.

That is my 2025 outlandish prediction. But I DO THINK IT IS CORRECT.

Oh and to show this new partnership. Mass Effect Trilogy is a Day 1 launch title.

Fortnite, Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch 2... those are the obvious ones. 3 of them are already on Switch 1.

although, with how slow Respawn is with Apex, maybe it won't be on launch.

As much as i loved Goldeneye, this isnt a collection more like the same game in various forms. Who would want that?

Plus it plays like shit these days.

Nintendo probably made Square Enix and (maybe) Capcom hold an announcement for their reveal direct.

Agreed. I would rather have a full 007 collection, but that would require Lionsgate, Amazon, Nintendo, and Xbox to all agree on something.

Parody of actual AJUMP23
Ubisoft always brings a game to a Nintendo launch.

There will probably be Starwars things
I could also see Monster Hunter showing up.

I disagree. The Xbox version plays fine. Remember, Xbox got the good version without online play. Just add the online play in. The Wii/PS360 version was more like COD. But there is an audience for it.

The XBLA version has never been released to the public. Add these 3 in a bundle and people will buy it. No question. I understand your point about being 3 games essentially the same. I understand that. Still though.

Will it sell as much as COD? No. Could it sell over 10 million units on all platforms combined? Easily.

No way it would sell anything like that, you'd be lucky to get a million.

Like most on this forum I loved Goldeneye back in the day, but things have moved on significantly since then.
