I hope these don't take off, or they replace a current menu item if they do.

Taco Bell has such a bloated mess of a menu.

In Mexico we call those things "Flautas"

wtf Taco Bell? First you call taco something that is not a taco and now the flautas :(

I thought the difference was that flautas was soft (with some crisp) and taquitos were hard shell crunchy?

Of course, what I know about flautas is what I ate at Pancho's (I miss that place). I ate the fuck out of those things, soooooo good.

Yeah, that's generally the difference I know.

People always talk about Taco Bell as if it's cheap, but I'm always surprised at how much I end up paying there. It's certainly one of the more expensive fast food places around.

It depends on what you order. I stick with the 99cent menu and can fill up for under $4

"Flautas" are longer "tacos dorados" as far as I know. So these do count as tacos, I think. Image-Googling "tacos dorados" makes me think I'm right.

They've had these for awhile, no? I remember getting Taquito's from Taco Bell a few years ago. They weren't crispy like this, they were grilled like burritos.

The joys of being a test market.

The joy being you find something you like, then find out it was a test and they stop making it forever.

Josh and Matt pics are pretty damn lol, haha.

I always thought flautas were flour tortilla s and taquitos corn. I guess I was wrong.

I'm blown away by the overwhelming taquito support

What's so great about them? They're like a shittier smaller taco just rolled up tight and without 3/4 of the goodness stuffed inside.
