That's not really a lot for 2 consoles, actually it's pretty low, by the end of 2019 the gen will probably be close to over.Via take two.
Forecast over 50m as of end of 2015.
Forecast 110m as of end of 2019.

That's the most bizarre thing to me, Take Two have arguably the highest grossing game ever (minecraft is a lot cheaper, wii sports & tetris were pack-ins) and still manage to lose money?
I can't think of what sort of money sucking vortex they must have, there must be layers upon layers of management siphoning away cash at all levels.
So
IT HAVE TO BE NEW MAFIA OR RED DEAD
NO EXCUSES
Man I cant even.
I'm willing to bet some hard cash that many of the GTA audiences are minors, in fact I think half of those 52 million copies were bought by people under 17. Of course I'm speculating and this could be entirely untrue but every time I go to GTA online I always get children on mics and that almost only happens on COD games, at least to me.Man. How can a game that sells 52 million copies have such a small impact on the cultural gaming sphere? Do I live in a bubble?
Why don't I know anybody who cares about GTA V? Why are there no memes? No mainstream awareness of plot or characters? No iconic locations? It's just a brand to me. I don't know anybody attached to it. Or passionate about it.
Apparently I literally live underground.

2K.
It's not going to be Red Dead.
Take Two are STILL losing money?

This mismanagement at this company is unreal, how have they not gone under yet?

Most videogamers don't go online and talk about videogames.
How do they make so little money? I mean Activision only sells pretty much COD every year and they make 4-5x Take Two,
That would mean a very good number for the Xbox One that people won't like.

Battleborn will be at E3 in a BIG way.
Also other titles at E3
Also asian market is a huge market for Take2 and they will expand.
GTA V 52 million might be why.

NBA 2k15 just under 7m
WWE 2k15 sold in nearly 3m, 40% up from 2K14 in the same time.
Borderlands sales exceeded expectations, 20% digital. 25m units franchise sales of which 8m sold in FY2015.
Nirolak, you wanna copy bump haha!
CoD, Skylanders, Blizzard's entire line-up, and now Destiny.
I'm about 3 of them.
So yeah, awful player base considering the games sales. Pretty much what I posted. It sold around 350k on Steam.
Also a trash player base. It's almost as if PC gamers are tired of the paid DLC vectors.Call of Duty sells millions, Advanced Warfare barely does 3,500 players daily on Steam.
Reviews don't matter apparently.
GTAV sold 52 Million and they STILL lost money overall?
The fuck!?
Is that legal?
