From what truly little we’ve seen of Village, I’m extremely excited for it. The enemies look fresh and fun, the environment looks like a PERFECT call back to RE4 while still retaining elements of the 7 and the Original.

I am curious to see how “open” the level(s) are; are they going to give us some semi or quasi open world segments ala The Evil Within 2? Or is it going to be essentially a a more linear series of interconnected areas?

Basic first person action animation that feels odd and unnatural from that gif. A general problem with First person view in games that do more than just put a gun in your hand. Basically carries from VII.

The shotgun to handgun switch looks like the character is grabbing the shotgun with his left hand, then pulls the handgun up with his right hand, then after putting away the shotgun brings his left hand up to the handgun.
