Hello! I'm Chump_Change because I don't have much in the way of money usually, hence the name. I'm excited to join the NEOGAF community and look forward to interacting with everyone here.

I mostly play on PC (have a PS4 but I barely use it), and I love Strategy games and some RPGs too. Not really much of a multiplayer person though despite that I still play them sometimes, but that's just my personality. Favorite games are Total War Three Kingdoms, Final Fantasy XII, NBA 2k13, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hobbies -I follow NBA basketball (casually), and I enjoy reading and writing (I'm trash though). I want to expand this list in to other things.

Long time lurker here, to say the least! Loved this board for so long i genuinely want to thank Evilore and staff members for keeping the place alive in the first place. History has been made on this Forum, hundreds of historical threads are pure gold and should be preserved for generations and generations till the end of humanity.
Hyperbole much? No, this place used to be literal perfection; really enthusiast opinions and analysis on my favourite games with fanboyism always kept to minimum, the very best humor on all the internet and at the same time a place you could constantly learn stuff on, on all kinds of different topics.
Then the split happened, schizoera formed and i’ve discovered in a couple of months what a dictatorial nightmare looks like. Then fell into a rabbit hole, my existence changed during the process and now here i am.
GAF is a bit different these days, the amount of console war can be tiresome, and i feel the usual unobjective salty liars manage to compromise the reputation of this place by shamelessly manifesting themselves in full force at every occasion, but still, i feel at home here. At least you can discuss things.. which should be the main purpose of a discussion board.

What you can expect from me? Honest opinions. I game since ‘96, owned platforms of all kind of brands and regard truth as possibly the most important thing in life.

Howdy everyone, finally joined after seeing some good discussion threads and some encouragement from a mate who's already in here.
I love retro gaming and fighting games, particularly Virtua Fighter! I also delve into modern games, but recently have been trying to concentrate on the backlog and 'I really need to play that one day' games.

I'm mostly a PS4/Switch guy, but I like all consoles. Favorite gaming series is probably Gran Turismo...despite all the ups and downs its gone through, it's what I grew up with, and I can't wait to see what Polyphony have in mind for the next game - hopefully it's Gran Turismo 7.

Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Happy to join this fancy establishment. I have been window shopping for years and has finally decided to take the plunge.

I'm a 46 year old norwegian man (pardon my english, Its not my native language).

I have been gaming since the late 70's when my father brought home a console from a trip abroad. Me and my brother was amazed that we could interact with objects on the television and I have been a gamer since.

In the 80's and early 90's it was C64 and Amiga that kept the interest alive. My first real console was PS1 and I have stuck with Sony consoles ever after. I dont consider myself a fanboy and look forward to the next gen. It will be great no matter our preferences.

Currently Im trying to finish a Bloodborne run (god damn you, Orphan of Kos). I like story driven games but Its good to relax with some casual games now and then. Not much into online multiplayer these days.

I work as a full stack software developer (not gaming related). But I prefer working with backend coding.

Hi all, I've read this forum for years, but I never created an account before. I hope this could help me to improve my english.
I'm a console (mainly PS4) and PC player, always trying to defeat my neverending backlog (for this reason I usually play games 2-3 years after release). I've played WoW for years and Heroes of the Storm for a lot of months but I prefer single player to multi. Also PvE > PvP and Coop > Competitive for me.

I got banned from ResetEra for voicing an opinion regarding the THQ 8Chan fiasco. I got labelled as encouraging Homophobic behaviour (Couldn't be further from my views ) for giving THQ the benefit of the doubt in the situation; in that they were brushing off/misinterpreting the nasty comments written by 8chan users and by doing so, wasn't actually a reflection of their own views.

I'm looking forward to joining the re-rise of Neogaf and having some actual discussions with everyone! So thanks for the add!
