This came out? Where can you watch it?

In the US, legally? Nowhere. It's currently being dubbed for Mondo and should come out in a few months. If you live in France, or have a VPN (and can understand French), you can watch it pretty easily. Otherwise, it's hard to find, even by less than legal methods.

I've only seen the first half, because I know zero French and even fansubs are incredibly difficult to find.

I know that this is a prequel to a comic series that is incredibly popular in France, and apparently it leads into it pretty well.

If you google around some guys have made English fansubs for Lastman, they should release them in the next few days.

And the story is pretty self contained, it doesn't feel unfinished.

The Change of Heart episode of the Loud House pointed out my biggest issue with the show. Clyde's unhealthy obsession with Lori and his excessive nosebleeds, it's disgusting. I hope the writers aren't planning to make Clyde and Lori an actual episode.

Are they really that excessive? I haven't watched very many episodes but I thought the stammering and "shutting down" schtick was more frequent. Still, it's weird that a Japanese animation go-to for sexual arousal is something they feel comfortable showing. Then again, this show gets away with a lot if past posts on the subject is any indication.

It happens way too much. Also, Clyde's fantasies of killing Bobby and running away with Lori is really messed up.

Penn Zero Series Finale

It was a satisfying conclusion for the entire show. So much better than the ending of Samurai Jack

Rippen finally getting his badass moment by saving Penn's parents and reality itself.

On the Clyde thing, seeing as they've been developing his character in many other respects, I gave that episode a free pass (especially since it was mostly about overcoming his obsession over Lori).

Clyde wasn't really trying get over his fascination with Lori. He was attempting to control his nervous reactions towards Lori.

Is Young Justice coming back to Netflix with the new season? I was about 12 episodes in and Netflix removed it today :(

I guess I'll watch Miraculous Ladybug in the meantime as much as the "totally rad" style of writing for the teens is kinda grating to me :p

Finally got around to finishing Hanazuki season 1. Overall, the show gets quite close to being good, but it's hampered by sometimes unusual pacing and editing. Still, I found it enjoyable, and I liked Hanazuki as a character.

Probably not, it and the live action Teen Titans are going to anchor a DC service with all the classics.
That's a shame, I really enjoyed the convenience of watching YJ through my PlayStation. I'd rather not have to pay for yet another streaming service... guess that's just going to be the future of things though.

Now there's a bizarre choice. Not unwelcome, but weird.

6-8:30 AM is an appropriate time for their TTG/Gumball spam, as it's likely peak viewing time for small children before they leave for school. Then you have the dead hours of 8:30-3:00, but you could fill up the morning with cheap licensed shows and put classic Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry in from noon-3:00 (to target adults on their lunch hour), then 3-5:00 run more TTG/Gumball spam, and 5-8 have your premiers, or reruns of shows that are still in production.

Also CN added the first two seasons of Teen Titans on demand.

It could be a test to how well Cartoon Networks target audience receives action shows.

Yeeeeeah...
...I could really do without the nose bleeding stuff from Clyde as well.
I mean...I thought the episode was fine, but I really didn't like seeing Clyde basically bleed on Leni's feet.

The scene of Clyde bleeding all over Lincoln's fries was really revolting.

Eeew, I forgot about that.

Honestly, there isn't a whole lot of it, but I wish The Loud House crew would stop with the "gross-out jokes" they sometimes slip into the show.
It's quite unpleasant, and feels pretty out of place within such a cute and quirky program.

Is Rigby's voice actor (William Salyers) involved in any way in Close Enough? I know Mordecai's voice actor is the main guy on the show, but it'd be kinda weird for us not to get Rigby's VA in some capacity. As far as the rest of the old Regular Show guard goes, I can understand not having Mark Hamill in some way given his schedule these days (but I could see him doing a cameo on Close Enough), but it'd be nice to have William back as some recurring role.

So I saw the Teen Titans Go Special, The Night Begins to Shine since the commercials piqued my interest and WOW. I can't believe how good it was. Those songs are just insanely catchy. I only wish they could've outsourced the "other world" footage to another animation studio. Despite the style change the show still looks really blah in the animation department.

There's also a movie coming that is the first three episodes of season 1.

Offering fans an exclusive experience, the screening will comprise the series’ first season movie remastered in high-definition alongside content from the highly anticipated complete series box set. Additional surprises are anticipated, so be sure to sign up for alerts on the Fathom Events page — tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 15.

Don't know if it was mentioned here, but the first four episodes of Lastman are now on VRV, dubbed in English. The dub seems OK to good and the comedy comes across really well. The lipsync isn't perfect, but it seems well-acted and it's much better hearing all the curse words in a language I understand.

Yep. Link is here: https://vrv.co/series/GY5V11XQY/Lastman
The dub is ok. I've definetly heard better, and my initial opinion is that I prefer the sub. Aldana was better in the test dub trailer, which is kind of dissapointing.

Still, if you want to support the show (which is pretty good BTW) give it a watch. It's only $3 a month to support a western adult animated action show which is all too rare these days (or ever).

While I'm not sure a whole lot of you will be interested in it, Netflix just put up "LEGO Elves: Secrets of Elvendale."

What's interesting about it is that it's animated by Studio Mir (Korra/Voltron) and I didn't really expect a show like this to get quality animation.

Also, it's the only major LEGO series where the characters aren't made of legos.

Huh? But... how?

I mean, I guess there's technically no need for them to always be Legos, but it's weird.

Here's a trailer for it, and it looks like it could be fun. The animation is definitely below Korra and Voltron, but it's still decent; if this show becomes half-popular, I expect a lot of fanart of the princesses. I'll wait and see how other people react to it before checking it out.

If they don't look like Lego, then I don't know why they branded it that way but whatever. Maybe they couldn't figure out how to do the signature Studio Mir facial expressions in Lego form. :p

Studio Mir has a CG team too so it's not like they didn't have the resources to make it look similar to the recent movies either. *Shrug*

I'll give it a watch, but I don't have any expectations for it. Maybe it's a better show than the trailer implies.
