What 3 games would make the Switch 2’s launch unforgettable?

Wow thanks I didn't know when RDR2 came out, not.
I think it was necessary to point it out to explain why it's not really relevant in the grand scheme of things.
A RDR2 port is money with zero effort, not exactly what we can say about a GTA6 port.

Well the issue is they need to have improved versions of titles because 100% whatever they release will also be on the switch 1. They need to stand out

1. MK9 Im sure this has been ready for a while.
2. A new mainline Mario or Zelda (WindWalker?) Twilight Princess? Remastered OOT would be crazy
3. Pokemon A-Z

EDMIX

Writes a lot, says very little
lol huh? smh

They release so much evergreen shit, I don't actually know if they can have some launch where it would be "unforgettable" I mean, putting out a Mario, Zelda and Animal Crossing sounds so normal, why would it be remembered any more then any other launch from them?

I don't know if anything can really fit this tbh.

Melee remake / remaster with online play
Animal Crossing
Star Fox 64 remake
ET
Superman 64
Halo 4

Ey. You said unforgettable, not good.

lol even joking, that is a better post then most as it actually fits what OP is even asking lol

New F-Zero
A new 3D Mario game that's more like Galaxy than Odyssey
Final Fantasy Tactics 2 made by the trifecta: Matsuno, Yoshida, Itou

1) Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition - 4 hour battery life makes it the definitive way to play portable and offline.

2) Metroid Prime 4 - Upscalled 1440p /60 fps remastered for Switch 2

3) Some Mario bullshit.

Metroid Prime 4, Elden Ring and Dark Souls trilogy would make for a solid launch. Throw in a new 3D Mario, Starfox Adventures 2 and a remake for Eternal Darkness and you have a lineup upgraded to legendary status.

I would bet the farm you will see StarFox Adventures again in late 2025 to mid 2026!

Really? Has there been any info or leaks regarding this? I would love a sequel to this game :messenger_grinning:
There was “leak” long ago maybe 2020. I don’t remember. Nintendo very much wanted to bring SF back in different ways. Considering remake of SF 64 3d for a future console, as well as they had an “idea” how to make a SF Adventure sequel very much like a Zelda w/ Monolith taking the lead.

In the same leak it was correct about Goldeneye returning.
The leak also mentioned a Xenoblade Warriors action rpg. Which i do think is the next Xenoblade we get.

We will find out soon, but there has been recent rumors about SF Adventures 1 returning with a remaster version. So, i am pretty sure, they will sub this in one year for a 3d Zelda.

Hopefully we find out soon.

The Best:
New Zelda or Remake 3D of A link to the past (like the Link’s Awakening Remake)

New Mario 3D (i’m Ok with an Odyssey 2, i really enjoyed the first).

New Donkey Kong

The worst line up for me : new smash bros, new animal Crossing , new Splatoon or mini games.

+Mario Kart 9
+ New IP
+ Metroid Prime 4

I think the approach Sony took with PS5's launch was really special. You have to have something for kids, something for general audiences, and something for the hardcore, and they delivered on this in spades. Miles/Astro were general audience, Sackboy was for kids, and Demon's Souls for the hardcore.

Nintendo could have a really successful launch by having Mario Kart available right away, and something for the more hardcore audience like Metroid. Would love to see a new IP from them too, as it's been a minute.
