The bear of bad news
I personally enjoyed Bloodborne and Sekiro the most for smooth combat.
Not talking about framerate, just the flow of the combat. Which combat has the smoothest, most responsive flow? What does it mean „smoothest combat”?
Bloodborne needs to get the "better hardware" treatment. Give us ps5 with 60 fps, and PC ultrawide and unlimited fps update already! Bound to happen any time now.
Truthfully it makes the 'turtle' approach viable where you will hide behind shield/stamina/HP and exploit regular hits.Elden Ring. Guard counters are where it's at.
I've seen this claim made multiple times and I have to call bullshit on it.Sekiro had the smoothest but relied to much on parry IMO. It was pretty much a parry simulator and there wasn't really another way to beat bosses.
In what world where do we live in where green rats can suggest playstation fanboys have the least informed opinion on the Soulsborn genre? It’s all pretty much the same except Bloodborne doesn’t have block.
The main issue with this question is you will always get PS fanboys voting BB even if they never played any of the games.
Yep, best cartoony brawler out there.knack 2
Bloodborne.
I don't count Sekiro as a Soulsborne game. It just isn't.
Seconded !Demon's Souls (2009)
The surge series
I can't agree. It seems only well suited for boss sword fights which are almost all the same thing. Exploring the world is pretty trivial and feels like padding for the next sword fight.Sekiro hands down for me, I'm loving Elden Ring but Sekiro has best combat FROM ever made.
