There may be a file size limit dictated by the console makers. That's the difference. I doubt Sony or Microsoft are going to allow a scenario were a file size can grow to a ridiculous amount just because the space is there.

There might be a console manufacturer limit on save sizes. Even still, with only 25, I bet it's horribly unoptimzed.
Watch the PC version come out and still have a limit on slots for no fucking reason.

Here's some wild speculation:
Some (verified) 2K employee/animator was posting on Reddit back in July about working on the game and was going to do an AMA before someone in marketing likely got wind of it and clamped down on them. The poster cancelled the AMA and deleted all their previous posts talking about it.
Before he deleted everything, he did mention that there was an internal push for a PC version going on. I wouldn't be surprised if they had run into the file size limit around then. I can't imagine Visual Concepts was happy with a 25 CAW limit and PC is a way around it.

"Entirely new engine" which is why they're using the SAME EXACT CREATE A STORY CUTSCENE with the crowd of people trying to hold two people apart. But they still remove create a story? What the hell. That made me so mad when I saw it. It is the same exact cutscene you can make in story creator 2K14. And they're going to use the new engine excuse to say that's why they took it out. Bullshit.

I think its pretty obvious the entirely new engine is bullshit. That's why they still have the on the phone entrance animation and gameplay still has stthe same glitches. Also I've heard the audio commentary is exactly the sasame on 15 for last gen and on PS4.

Maybe they spent the entire dev time making a new engine and then just copied and pasted assets into the game and scrapped anything extra that didn't work and wasn't going to get done in time.

Finally watched the video released today. They make it sound cool, but there will probably be around 10 cut scene scenarios or less in the game that repeat over and over, thus leaving you with the core gameplay since you will be playing matches over and over. How many people actually enjoy the core gameplay of this series?

Its boring and not a challenge even on legendary mode. The CPU is unrealistic and doesn't even attempt early pins and overall, I just play to have a fun universe, but the gameplay isn't what it should be and I expect more of the same this year, even with the new animations and gameplay system.

It's annoying that they regurgitated some of the CAS cutscenes for MyCareer but at the same time I think this does a good job of highlighting the graphical difference. I think it's a good improvement.

Just had a chance to see that move video. I've noticed every move from the ropes seems to lack any impact. They have the softest landing I've ever seen in a wrestling game. I noticed it in that Roman Reigns footage too.

Everything I've seen of this game is laughably bad. That video looks like the animation is all juddery like it's missing frames of animation.

The Evil Within was basically unplayable without it's day one patch, ran at an even lower resolution and framerate. Day one patches have basically become way for the rushed devs to better optimize the game in mean time of it going gold and hitting shelves.

I'm still going back on forth if I should get a PS4 to play this or wait for the PC version, which will be hacked to awesomeness. On PS4 I can just rent it on red box for a couple of days and be done with it.
