I've never watched one of his streams, are they really funny?
They are great. Half of the time Jeff is talking shit, goofing about and failing horribly at the game. The other half he's all concentration and is wrecking bosses left and right.
Then there's chat, which is like a universe in itself. I was there, the day Jeff killed Solaire. Chat went ballistic, literally hundreds of people screaming in all-caps.

Hey, Jeff actually did pretty good in this last stream. He actually managed to handle the mastodons pretty decently and he did pretty well with the Dragonriders. He may actually beat this game yet.
Still, I expect Shrine of Amana to be a huge roadblock for him. But if he can get past that, I'm confident he can beat the game.

I'm not sure if this is public information but Jeff is actually the owner of Koss. The company just isn't doing all that great right now so he's using Dark Souls streaming as a way to promote his products. Every dollar counts.
I mean a company named 'Hit Detection'? Sounds fake as hell. He first brought it up as a joke back when he was facing unemployment and was streaming original Dark Souls to save Koss. But then people bought into it so he thought why not, let's go with that. All this is actually visibly hidden information on Giant Bomb wiki where his profile says he's a full time Dark Souls player with a secondary job as a "consultant" for Hit Detection. And we know wikis are like dictionaries except even more trustworthy.

Lobos Jr. does a pretty good job of organizing his screen, uses the green screen etc. but he uses OBS, I know Jeff tried that once but settled on Explit ...well for whatever reason is a mystery?!!?

However, Jeff's continuous, casual disregard for the best ring in the game (Ring of Blades) is just...
And the Chloranthy Ring in Dark2 is just shit, they nerfed it so much that is basically useless.
Best ring will always be Third Dragon Ring.

You're right, but a glass cannon play style, makes the ring of blades a must.
I'm fine either way, but it'd be nice to read some of the chat stuff, to have context, for us non USA folks who usually have to catch up with the streams.
