That subreddit is eerily mirroring r/politics at the moment.
LMAO
I can't believe this is legitimate but I'm imagining executives sitting at their laptops, watching the RT score dropping and all of a sudden they're shouting "SOMEONE PHONE NOLAN, QUICK"
The script is easily googlable, and there's at least a couple threads anout it here on OT side. It was called Justice League: Mortal and was basically an adaptation of Grant Morrison's Tower of Babel story.
Interesting in that it is still, so far, the only live action DC attempt to be based directly on an actual comic book storyline.
Huh, interesting. I had no idea the script was out there. I remember seeing some storyboards or something. Wasn't Tower of Babel Waid though?

This poor soul summed up exactly how I'm feeling

Does Nolan even want to make another superhero movies again? I thought he want to make movies that are one and do that don't need sequels.

Speaking as a fan of Man Of Steel and of Zack Snyders work in general, I am baffled by what I saw tonight.
If anything, I don't expect Snyder to go on a big Alex Proyas-esque meltdown.

Pretty sure he's moved on from the capes for good. I mean, who knows. But he seems done.

I knew this was coming when we saw Batman in his armoured suit.
He doesn't care about story. He just enjoys appropriating the visuals of heavily praised comic books, bringing them to a new audience, then feeling like he contributed.
You didn't, Zack, and you haven't.
I can't even imagine how it feels to be all of the actors attached to the DC "Universe", thinking that they had their future pretty much set in stone for the foreseeable future, especially some of the lesser known folks.
Is it too early to call this the worst movie of all time and state that anyone involved in this in any way should never work in the movie industry ever again?
I really hope WB just replaced Snyder instead of implode everything going forward. I'd be sad not being able to see Cavill playing an actual likeable Superman.
Remember when this movie was supposed to open the same day as Civil War? SMH.
Well, looka like Zootopia is the better choice then, UK homies.
I have to disagree, at least to some extent. Snyder clearly has an enormous appreciation for the various themes/ideas/concepts of comic books, it's just that he does not give the scenes room to breath, he does not put them in the appropriate context. As a result his movies the scenes feel jarring.
Let's take the church scene from Man of Steel. It's a really nice idea in concept, but in the movie Superman just randomly decides to visit some random priest, who never appears again.
That's why I want to know how many movies Henry Cavill signed on to do. This can't be good for his career. With no announcement of a second Superman movie, and Ben getting all the praise. I wonder if is he question his Superman role, or he can just be like fuck being A-list actor I'm getting paid.
So what are GAF's guesses on what WB is gonna do with DC going forward?
I still want Disney to buy DC but that's a pipe dream.

Who would replace Snyder on the production level though? It's not just about directing JL, it's also about having someone mapping out the universe and planning the other films. Is anyone even interested in stepping into this shit at this point? It's already so established, and commitments have been made. The directors people float around like George Miller sure as fuck aren't going to be interested in wasting years of their lives planning films for other directors.

One of the greatest Super-Hero Slobberknockers ever filmed! Not Batman v Superman, that fight sucked. The stars of this movie are Doomsday and Wonder Woman! Movie falls just shy of Greatness & hit me in all my fangirl parts! .
A
Yes.
Batman and Robin still exists

I've actually been surprised that DC didn't snatch up Smith after Avengers 1. Given WB/DC playing catch up, them saying "Well, Avengers was done by a comic geek, lets get one to do our films too!". Not saying Smith would be good, it just seems like the knee-jerk reaction that would have been made.

Dark Souls 3 is confirmed shit? Man, maybe I don't wanna know...

Geoff Johns, maybe? I thought he was already supposed to have involvement with the shadowy cabal known as the DCCU braintrust.
So does Trank's abomination called Fant4stic
