My first thought too. Rather have Tong Pooh or Solo, but I'd like to play as him. Hope they aren't following this recent trend of fighting game story modes where non-playable characters make an appearance. Then again, looking at SFV itself...

Absolute ass just like the gameplay, quality assurance is clearly nonexistent.

That ugly Chun casually talking towards Thanos had me in tears.

It's just inconsistent in quality. Look at the Nova/Captain Marvel scenes vs. New York City with the Avengers Tower.

Does look like most of the ported characters got new models though, I don't know how much is actually ported.

From what little we've seen it looks fine in gameplay.

I think he might be in the DLC with Sigma as he's a brand new character.


Everything else looked rough. Looks like DMC3 Dante but I didn't get a clear enough look at it.

Chun-Li looked horrible but Nova looked fucking magnificent. Hopefully models improve as release approaches like SFV.

For those wondering about BP, a separate leak which now seems to be correct said that there will be future unfinished DLC characters in story mode similar to SFV'S story mode. I guess we know who is DLC now.

Gamora looks awful.

They are really focusing on the story mode. Now the people that want gameplay are mad. You can tell that story mode is sucking up resources all the characters look bad.

Nah, I doubt it. Look at Ken in SFV. That game barely had any content during launch, what was the excuse for that lol

The characters have such derpy face especially Chun-Li and Chris. Capcom is so bad at brand continuity. Latest RE game has a new Chris but still use the old Chris in this. Same with Dante.

We're going to get an absurd amount of gameplay throughout E3 and at CEO this weekend. Now is not the time to be worrying about the lack of gameplay.

Not to mention the demo. And the story mode that, if a different leak is correct, allows you to use any character throughout the different battles, which means people at home can experiment.

No because they still have to make the other parts of the game. Capcom probably paid Marvel for the license and didn't get any funding. Probably working on a poverty budget as usual.

The character models and art direction of SFV are actually really good. Except some examples like Mika's hair and Ken's face(which looks ok from dif angles)

Eh, yeah, it looks rough. This is the worse Chun has ever looked, Gamora looks much like her Contest of Champions model, with not too much to make her look either very Capcom-inspired, or more related to the movie designs.

Was Johnny Young Bosch voicing Megaman X, while talking about Zero, who was voiced by Johnny Young Bosch? Thanos here, and Darkseid in Injustice 2 have the same VA?

Seeing Arthur and Spencer show up was ok. No re-designs there, which is kinda surprising? Grandmaster Meio popping up is kinda cool, too. Wasn't that a Monster Hunter enemy? Black Panther looked pretty OK, if he and so man y other characters are DLC only while so many stale stand-bys get into the game, I'll be somewhat annoyed.

I really wanna try out the demo, but "Story Demo" sounds a lot like it won't have any local VS, which sounds pretty eh in concept. But I guess we'll see how that works out soon.

For a game that comes out in 4 months, it LOOKS like something that needs another year or so in the oven. It is a shame how far Capcom is from that strong stylistic mark that they usually have no problem hitting in the past. Ugh.
