I am more of a NeoGAF rookie lurker. This is where most of the MvC news hits first, so I thought I'd join as I love my roster speculation.
And yes, I thought those pics could easily be faked when I saw them, so didn't put too much stock in them.
Since there was debate on the time stamp on those pics, I thought I would be helpful and chime in that I saw them a few days before last night's trailers. I didn't think I'd get clobbered for it! SHEESH!!!

Thanos is definitely my main gotta figure out who compliments him well and yes they both look badass. Day 1 I'm probably rocking thanos, Gamora and Captain Marvel and X.

Is Ono even involved with MvC? Also what would he do in the last 3 months? Make them redo every character model? I mean that would be awesome, but I've never seen that happen in a game

Theoretically they could improve the lighting and update the faces. But animations that are goofy are staying.

Color me skeptical. With only 3 months left until release I find it hard to believe things will change dramatically. Good to hear if true however.

We know from the Comics covers (and Rocket/Groot both being in the game, along w/ panther as DLC) that at a maximum, the base roster is 32 characters deep (16 per side) at most. If Ryce's was incomplete, that only leaves room for 2 spots for returning characters.

That's actually 18 on each side in this leak. (I'm assuming Death is an NPC) If we combine this w/ the cover thing- could Ant-Man actually be part of the first DLC pack, along w/ a Capcom character not in the story mode? That'd bring us to 19 on each side including S1 DLC.
I say this cause if this leak is also accurate, there literally aren't any options for S1 DLC on the Marvel side on the list, since Gamora is presumably base.

Projectile->Tag->mixup is going to be a thing in this game. Also, install supers are buffed because the first character always keeps going with their hyper combo. Or maybe you can just tag instead of DHCing to your partner.

In Fchamp's defense, he's probably pushing this game hard not because of money but because SFV is that bad of a game and he wants an alternative.
