Most of them have already attributed the lack of Feb reveal due to the Corona virus. They'll not say anything else. You might think that's bullshit, but GDC's cancellation does gives weight to their claims ...

I think thats BS because literally hundreds of news outlets would be briefed about Feb meeting and its cancellation that you would hear it from them as well. Since we didnt hear anything about Feb EVER, except from Tommy Fischer, Osiris and Klee, safe to say it was never on.

36CU is believable, because that GPU is bigger on considerably smaller and more espensive process then PS4 and Pro GPUs were (212mm² / 230mm²). Thats before we even add VRS/RT hardware on die.

My point remains. When you have an advantage, you don't sit on it while your competition dominates the discussion the way MS is doing right now. I don't think past behavior is necessarily an accurate guidance for us, but I wouldn't totally discard it either.

But I can't deny the chirping of crickets. We were led to believe that these devices are so close in performance that the game of chicken over clock speed would be the only fractional indicators. Well MS has put that flop number out there. If at all possible, Sony could clock up and smack that ball out the park now.

This is what I don’t understand. SONY can simply give details to Game Informer, Wired, Digital Foundry, etc. Don’t see how the Corona virus impacts that? Or use Twitter?

A very little number of insiders are verified, ESPECIALLY on ResetEra, that tells you something....and what makes you believe in GitHub leak? There are a lot of inconsistencies and no context there.....OK I give up, you guys are beyond delusional, when Sony announces the specs of PS5 you guys will be crying 🤣🤣

PS4 is a market leader by a wide margin, Sony is currently the one with the brand powerhouse. It's necessary for Xbox to be more vocal/siphon focus right now, but Coke never mentions Pepsi.

I make no claims about their relative power, but re: their "silence", I'm unconcerned, just wait and see.

I do wonder if the presumed Corvid-19 delay creates a tiny bit more breathing room regarding final clocks and yields, if even in the low single digit percents.

They could have made leak themselves through any channal they wanted. Similar to XSX presentation at E3 when Reiner, at the end of show, tweeted "PS5 is allegedly more powerfull then Scarlett".

That took alot of wind out of MS sails and it dominated the discussion about Scarlett. Nothing of a sorts happened now, people are waiting and MS is getting all the good publicity.

Maybe they want a live event and not a State of Play. Maybe they wait until they have jaw-dropping gameplay trailers for their launch 1st party games ready to be shown alongside the reveal. Who knows?

Oh get over it. I have watched so many sinceless post for weeks. To be straight foward, I have rarely seen anyone on the Sony side wish the worst for MS. A lot of MS people back whatever happens even when the company clearly wrongs them. I've seen way more true bashing from MS folks. Now Sony people may snap back but they'd never taunt 9.2 9.2 9.2 after they already have their spec of 12tf. MS is more of an Americanized culture where there is always this battle or falic swinging contest. Maybe it's all the multiplayer shooter games - I dont know. I'm just saying I have never seen 1 Sony fan wish the worst for the competition. I repeat - I have never seen it.

I can respec that. We have different opinion and mine is made only based on data minned and leaked benchmarks that I think are spot on. Nothing can change my mind but another leaking tomorrow and showing PS5 with wider bus and more CUs, I would have no issue believing that because I would like it. I only own PS4 therefore would rather play all my games on system where I can transfer my games.

Oh, yes, so i can use these individuals as representatives of Xbox community just because they are supported by many, many people, also by Xbox execs.

What are the inconsistencies of the github leak? On the leak one thing stood out too me regarding oberon and that was some features being seemingly deactivated on the BC portions reminded me of the cerny patent for BC.

First time Cerny was like, we can use use RT for 3D audio...etc

At times people would be happy with double digit GCN this was certainly an interesting comment and it tells me that your 2nd point is likely not his reason for "bingo".

He was cought saying GCN v Navi floos many times as well saying Navi has more perf per TF and we shouldnt concentrate on TF.
