While some people see if some one is probably a hoax from the first message they see, because some people just see through the lies and web of tricks they have built. First time I saw TFs message, I thought how the heck anybody can believe this troll. But too many fell for it.

For fake-insider there is nothing to lose, if they claim "I get self ban if reveal is on february" and it happens by luck = worship
if it doesnt happen, they can still claim the plan changed etc, or just vanish = they lose nothing and they already gained months of joy from trolling.
Most logical and fair way would be to treat everyone as hoax/liars UNTIL official data is out, and then check whom said it first (if there is 100% trustworthy data that havent been altered afterwards) and even then it could be a lucky guess with some tech knowledge.

Both 9 and 12TF won't go away for PS5 yet.
What if it's Sony that has two consoles - a 9TF base (which would be fine, esp for 1080p), and a 12TF "pro" (targetting 4k) - give VRS and reduced need for AA at 4K that 3TF difference might be enough for subjective 4k quality..
I know it's a small difference, but it could mean they hit a $399 (or lower) price, whilst still having a premium offer. And the difference isn't so great as to piss off devs (as much)...

Both NVIDIA and AMD will be releasing new cards this year and both will make the consoles look like "mid-range" when it comes to numbers. Wait and see!

Maybe because PS5 kits aren't final so they can't be sure if their console is faster or not. Which would be another confirmation of a very narrow gap between them. You can't go from 9 to 12 TF just like that but you can go 11 to 12 (or the opposite).
Still, I believe that Microsoft will find a way to spin the numbers and put asterisks to them if they end up even a tenth of TF lower. They are the masters of FUD and Penello's activity online suggests they haven't stopped those juvenile practices.
I personally don't care much about the exact TF number. Sure, I want 4K graphics and stable framerates but what is far more exciting than GPU speed for me is a fast CPU and better audio. Talented devs from Sony's first party studios will make games look absolutely amazing at the end of the generation. We're finally getting balanced systems with much fewer bottlenecks than this gen.

So much desperation in here, when you are using to support your argument with some PR shit. And again FAST = POWER, in computational performance something like aerodynamic does not exist. Higher clocks does not mean better performance, if your architecture sucks. It's most likely means more heat, which is scary thought with how garbage cooling is/was with PS4s.

Dolby Atmos has already been here for quite awhile on the Xbox One X. It’s also 4K and has decent framerates.
Sure Sony’s first party devs are talented, just as talented as they would be if they weren’t tethered to the PS brand. I don’t think it’s a valid excuse for the lackluster 9.2 hardware ***if*** that’s what everyone is getting. You guys would be getting a LOT more from those same talented devs if they had a comparable console to the XSX.

It's a given xbox series x is their most powerful console, it's a nothing statement meant to confuse the semi retarded and downright dumb cool-aid drinkers into believing they mean it's more powerful than ps5.
It may turn out to be true and then we will see a marketing change for sure, but ms certainly dont have the confidence to say that at the moment, which I personally find very telling as it's fairly certain both are fully aware of each others specs at this point.

I agree. I think I'd prefer a bit slower console but without that terrible whine which my PS4 Pro does right now. Rumours about Sony going for custom, efficient cooling are good news for me.
I know I'm biased but I've been watching them do that for 30 years and I have a hard time believing they'll just stop right now. But I really hope you're right and that constant beating in the console market brought them to senses.
I have a Dolby Atmos sticker on my tablet which has two small speakers. Sure, they are very good for their size but it's just a marketing gimmick. Next gen we're talking about physical rendering of sound in-engine, not spatial simulation done through speakers afterwards. It'll be much better because you'll be able to enjoy that without dedicated headphones or speakers which cost a fortune.

Sorry to say that, but it's very naive to think that. Sony, MS and Nintendo are professionals in the business and know more about the others than you might think and have so far come to the public. You pretend that Sony was only surprised by the publication of the technical data of the XSX. You can be sure that this is definitely not the case. If sony has noticed that they screwed it up they will have known it for months. So enough time to react to it. The delay will not be due to the new games (Dreams, TLOUS2) or the SX.
Btw: Why some persons here always have to look for strange reasons for everything? It may also be simple that they don't want to release anything yet, are waiting for trailers from developers, or simply want to make Microsoft the first move. This is not a prove for anything, neither for 9 nor 14TF.

Regarding Dolby Atmos, I think it works exeptionally well on Xbox when it comes to sound separating positioning and that's with headphone. I don't have the sound system for that, obviously. It's way too much work. I somewhat have it on my Galaxy phone and well, I am not even sure what does it do : D
When it comest spatial simulation a psychical rendering of sound, we have these technologies for almost a 20 years, but sadly MS killed them with Win Vista/7 I believe. Due to some system layer. It's shame. I am still rocking old ass X-FI Elite Pro and something like EAX effect cannot be even turned on no longer. It's shame...

It has been said here several times: There were enough indications (even from MS directly) that you can expect 12TF. Even RDNA2 wasn't a tough bet. Therefore, every leak should be viewed with a good deal of skepticism, no matter where it comes from.

theory - they need to test (github) hardware backwards compatability modes because it's not powerful to do it in software like the PS5 - I know this theory is full of holes, but I like it.

Nice! So it looks like PS5 is almost RDNA2 confirmed! Was to be expected with Ray tracing and VRS of course but still.
Wouldn't be surprised if the base APU tech in both PS5 and XsX is identical. Differences will probably stem from the cooling solutions and maybe some small CU differences.
Compared to the last generation it feels we're really getting two equal consoles, a win for all gamers!
