AMD confirmed it too.
PS5 to have hardware based Ray Tracing.
Hardware based Ray Tracing requires Next Gen RDNA AKA RDNA2.
Does this mean PS5 is confirmed RDNA2?
Also i'm confuse, why some people say PS5 is not hardware ray tracing, while it was confirmed many times already that it's hardware ray tracing? What is up with that? I don't get it.

there are some great games/series from Microsoft studios/published by Microsoft; halo, Aoe, halo wars, Alan wake, gears, forza, forza horizon, project gotham, fable Etc. Sony got more of these, but it is fanboy talk to say that Microsoft studios don’t make great games.

Our most powerful marketing may not have anything to do with Sony in the long run, but rather to differentiate between the Series different skus power targets.
They would have surely had to come up with marketing for both products as to not confuse consumers. While they may not be talking about Lockhart, they are probably already using the preplanned Series X lines.
They may or may not know if they beat Sony in power, but their messaging might also not be about it.

I expect PS5 to be powerful, but not more powerful than Xbox. Something to keep in mind is the Price, I don't see Sony selling a console more than 500$. I alrady can't see Xbox less than 600$, so imagine PS5 price if its GPU is above 12TF.
Tho if the leak about 2 versions of PS5 will be true, that would be another story of course.

But people told me GitHub nobodyknowswhatwastested proved Jason was a lierJust so you guys know, someone from ResetEra compiled what Jason Schreier said about both consoles to this day, now the XSX specs turned out to be right, now we just wait for PS5 specs to come out (which I think he will be right again so PS5 = around 12 TFs).

Come on, it was only a joke. However I find it very possible that they started with 9 TF and then moved on. Technology advances all the time, if they moved the launch by one year, it's just reasonable to move the specs because I'm sure the price was decided long before by high-up execs.
I think it was like that: "Hey, Mark Cerny, you have $450*. Go to AMD, work with them and make the best possible console for that money".

I don't think they'll be an issue. The game Klee described sounds great (if you choose to believe) but the big difference in performance in RT on the consoles Osiris talked about was a little concerning.
Hopefully just a tools/dev software maturity issue.

Sony don’t have a monopoly on talent when it comes to games. Nobody does. Remember that talent has nothing to do with the console you are on or the performance of a console. If that was the case, Nintendo wouldn’t exist, and certainly wouldn’t have a far higher output of good first party titles than both consoles put together.
Also, while yes Sony do have an exceptionally high quality barrier, their games are still hit and miss with some. Hence why they get the third person story game meme. I don’t see it myself, not with games like Astrobot. But let’s not forget that MS have essentially got a lot of the main people on board for The Initiative from these companies that are so widely acclaimed. That’s the one I’m most excited to see what they are doing with.
I get it though, MS’s first party output this gen wasn’t just lacking, it was awful. Recore could have been amazing but didn’t have the budget or skill. Crackdown was actually a good game but was nothing that couldn’t be done on 360 (even worse after the cloud shit). Gears 4 was lacklustre but gears 5 was a great effort. And Forza Motorsport isn’t my thing so I can’t say, but forza horizon? 3 and 4 are easily two of the best games of the entire generation, but pointless if you don’t like racing games.
The biggest kick in the balls for MS is that they are quite honestly sitting on a GOLD MINE. Past ips they own are insane we haven’t got a new ones. Battletoads looks shit, banjo has been left to rot, perfect dark may come back (rumour), as may Fable, Kameo? Crimson Skies? Conker? Jade Empire? Blinx, Brute Force, Grabbed by the fuckin! Ghoulies even?!
They sit on all these ips are are doing bugger all with them... that much baffles my mind completely. Like how many years have people been crying out for a Banjo!!!

I think there might be some ps5 news on March 4th. It is a good opportunity because on this day there is 20th anniversary of ps2 (greatest sony console) and to add up this article about Amd talking more about rdna2 on March 5th... (so a day later after sony news but not before as it would spoil the reveal). Maybe we will get somekind of article with specs and such just like Ms did with their "12tf" news?

What do you mean by hit or miss?? Almost all their games were great, they have tried different things & now they made on of the most unique games in the industry (Dreams)
Even days gone got 73 on metacritic which is a Good score, for me it was 8... What else? God of war, uncharted 4, bloodborne, infamous SS, until dawn, dreams, horizon zero Dawn, death Stranding, spidermanps4 & many others all were great games, what else? The lowest came from their 1st party studios was days gone which was pretty good imo, even tho the studio haven't made a Triple A game in 20 years (bend studio)
