Okay first of all, hope everyone is having a good weekend, and if not then my best wishes for next weekend. 🙂🙏

So with regards to leakers/insider's for example Tommy Fisher, OsirisBlack etc, I understand they believed the PS5 & XSX are close in power, or that the PS5 has the edge but only slightly.... Now that Microsoft has played their hand, and revealed the XSX is 12tf and RDNA 2, do the leakers/insider's still stand by their past statements? 🤔

GitHub info was left alone for months as I understand it. Komachi sat on it and said they were going to report it to AMD/author because of sensitive personal info. Only when Ro_game brought it back on our radar did it then go public widely and then AMD/Sony swooped in and snuffed it out. That is how I remember it.

It still remains out of context for me.

VPN and clear concealment of your own data. Do you really think a real leaker is so stupid and publishes its leaks without a VPN? Ideally with his real name or username from Youtube?

I second this, only changing 10.5 to 10.7 for a minimum to beat Stadia and actually factoring in a safer margin would put the minimum at 11TF for a round number; so PS5 is going to be @ 11TF minimum and 13TF maximum.

Of course not, because they’re not real. The “insiders” here aren’t running, hiding and deleting posts as Subpoenas are being filed to NeoGaf giving Mod of War a major headache. Why? Because they’re not real insiders. They’re friends of friends repeating casual chest thumping and ego inflated barroom talk. These folks have bias too, and they’ll say whatever they please to get an ego boost in social situations with fellow game nerds. 15 minutes of fame and all.
The “legitimate insiders” here are sharing hearsay. The end.

If an insider here gives real damning info they’ve destroyed a friend’s livelihood in exchange for anon internet fame. Not a trustworthy person in said case either way.

he said both are 1080 level performance back on RE. then he keeps changing as news come along. now he says PS5 is 9.5 TF and 12.5TF (pro ) lol . he is just covering all the areas to be on safe side

uhm... but a GTX1080TI is a 11.3TF card. that's right around the ballpark of the SX, also I'm not sure when it comes to real world performance... how are the performance differences between RDNA and Pascal?

Because this is the point I’m trying to make. This gen the consoles shipped with lower end GPU’s which still pumped out some amazing looking games, but this time round we’ll be getting much better components.

I don't believe anything that VFX states. That dude lost me when he was claiming that a source told him that a PS5 Pro was releasing with the PS5. He later retracted that statement.

As for comparing Navi/RDNA to Pasca GPUS, I believe that the only thing we can compare is the AMD 5700XT, to the GTX 1080Ti. I saw some comparison charts on the internet.

BTW, Pascal is, was money well spent when I upgrded my GPU'S last time. Pascal was a huge leap forward from past cards by NVIDIA, and AMD.

I never said games won't look hot, ofc they will!
I was just pointing out that the 12 TF number won't look so impressive by time consoles release since more powerful GPUs will be on the market. It will be extremely good value though.

5700XT (8.2-9.7TF, usually the high end of that) performs very similar (or better than) 1080 (8.2-8.8TF); but less than 1080Ti (10.6TF or more)

- they're similar real world per TF

Yeah that’s always a given, I think I read somewhere online Nvidias next cards coming can be pushed to a whopping 24-30TF with some higher clock speeds.

I can't wait to see AMD's new flagship GPU'S. Radeons NAVI RDNA 2 GPU lineup looks to be a substantial improvement over AMDs previous graphics cards.

I hope AMD really brings high performance GPU'S at a reasonable price. Nvidia is expensive as hell and I would love to see AMD create some parody in that market.
