I couldn’t say about size though that’s entirely possible as things still progress.
As for crashing and what not, again, I’ve mentioned previously that the older kits were around the high 10 mark but had thermal issues, not exactly crashing but running so hot that it wasn’t a viable long term solution. Then these were fixed somewhat but the clocks pushed higher and again, they started running into thermal concerns. Better than before, but still not where you would want to be. That’s why I mentioned that at 11.6, there is more chance of a downclock than an up clock, as these things are already pushed, and then pushed again.
REALISTICALLY, there is a chance they will go to 11.5, hell maybe lower, as even that tiny little bump down will mean the temps will drop a fair bit. But I’m also confident that with a little tweaking they can stay at 11.6 comfortably.
Thats why when other people post these large ranges, I’ve been stuck at 11.6 for a while now. The only time I had a “range” was when I was first getting info. Before that I was on the guess train like everybody else.
What I will say is that these things are quite large though, to the point that they make the series x size look pretty tame even. It sounds like Sony are trying to go large but flatter, by SX is going tall but smaller, if that makes sense. Both systems will require a good bit of real estate in your display cabinet mind you

But that’s personal opinion there, not fact.

not once have I heard anything over 12, and I speak to multiple people. Doesnt mean it’s not possible, but everything added together certainly doesn’t paint that picture, when you think about it.
