Good is subjective. Many people seem to be enjoy it. Most of the hate is coming from people who HAVEN'T played it.

I also won't hold on to the "go woke, go broke" prediction when it comes to TLOU Part II. Might end up breaking records or be one of the top PS exclusives when it comes to sales.

I think this game will do extremely well. It's a sequel to a strong game, it's from a beloved devolopers, it's from sony, it has a huge marketing campaign, there's no way this game flops sales wise.

I still think the story is crap, and without the story this game doesn't have anything to offer.

Wasn't Ellie gay in Last of Us Left Behind?

She was but at the time a lot of people said it was a "phase" or she was "confused" till the devs confirmed she was actually gay (and people were already getting mad then because by the time the devs confirmed it the "CULTUH WARZZ" were already starting up). The main problem, though isn't that she's gay but that she is openly gay. People who hate it will tolerate it so long as it's barely hinted at (this is why they think Bill in the first game is such a "good example"; because blink and you'll miss it), but here we have Ellie actually being in a relationship and that being shown as any other relationship would be.

See, it's ok for Deacon in Days Gone to be in a relationship, for nearly every trailer to be about him pining after his wife but show Ellie kissing a girl in one trailer? That's a big no no. Go back to threads about the game after that gameplay reveal trailer, that's when all the hate started.

RDR2 is just an amazing feat by Rockstar really. Still cannot beleive how good it looks with the scope ond attention to detail on current gen hardware. But it took a long ass time by a gigantic team to accomplish. So it's not really a fair comparison.
