Why all those kids are leaving Manchester United?
are they fucking insane or what... they have the best manager of this generation, a good club, good chances to be a starting player in the near future, etc.

I keep on reading he's near Juventus.
Just let him go. Please.

I've given up being emotional or sentimental about it.

It's just a shame that he would get this close and then bail out. I think he'll be a big deal wherever he plays, though.

There isn't exactly an exodus. Morrison is just thick, and I think we were pretty fed up with him. Pogba seems to believe - probably about 1/4 justified - that he is totally ready to start and boss first team games and be paid accordingly. It's clear as hell that he's not being gambled on because this is the run in. Added to which, he's not being treated like a servant of the club because he has so far refused to sign for us. Part of what will help us play above our standard for the rest of this season is guts and commitment. Ronnie had it. Bigtime. Scholesy has it. Park has it. There's no putting a player into central midfield of a team like that who doesn't know if he wants to be here next season.

I'm staying with my PS3 copy of PES 2011. It's as close to the old magic you can get on a current gen system.

Adam will improve as he gets through these high pressure games. I think we all forget that prior to this year, his experience was just in the shitty SPL and with Blackpool.

His penalty was hilariously bad. I loved it.

Well, then it's a club problem. They should make them proud of being ManU players in their youth years, and also make them sign a long contract when they're promoted to first team play.

Well if that's the problem I don't think Italy will be the right place for him. Personally I'd try Germany, seems the best place for a young talent, just like England.

Media here calling De Rossi a "young premise" this year. (He'll be 29 soon) and it's not like big teams seem to be ready to let young people play. He may end up playing Fifa12 with Elia and De Ceglie.

That's actually true

I am glad that he is at least likely to go to Juve if he goes.

It would properly do my head in if he made a move in England.

My futsal boots arrived. Can't wait for Thursday.

Rafael is a boss.

Seriously.

Tony Evans is a Liverpool fan, though, and is possibly caught up in the delirium of a Carling Cup return on their own multi-multi-multi million £ "freshening up".

I mean, I don't like the Glazers, but acting like their inhibition of anything like a £100 million splurge is a terrible thing is just numpty talk that would disgrace the Daily Mail.

He was one of Chelsea's more dubious transfer targets in the winter.

It really wouldn't be silly. He seems like an inveterately forward moving player, which is where Chelsea's midfield desperately need to go. Providing that the defence can be trusted to hang together if they get counter-attacked.

Is he a centrally attacking player. Can he play on the wings?

a) He is. b) He can, and he would drift there a bit, but it's not what you'd use him for.

AVB would probably experiment a bit, though - and who knows.

Part of the reason he excites me with regard to our team is that we are alright/better than alright on the wings, and additionally having a tough, composed bastard with a cracking shot driving into space down the middle would rattle a few defences.

I would love for us to be able to attack down the wings like United - I Miss the days of Robben and Duff.

An intelligent deep-lying playmaker would be nice. Our ball distribution from the back is poor.

I read somewhere that Raiola's son is a Juventus supporter. This basically confirms it. Pogba to Juve is a done deal.

lol. Well, he does have a few Juve clients. Nedved, for one. I think he just brutally fucks clubs in general, though.

I'm not going to lay all the blame on him, though. If a player is putty in his agent's hands, then he's culpable too.

Guy's a fucking tool. Fair enough wanting to leave but not in the way he's done it. Good thing Spurs didn't buy him.

Pogba noooooo. I can think of many worse places to go than Juventus, but he needs to turn his brain on and have some coherency of thought. Playing for Manchester United at his age under the greatest manager of the generation like elsk said. I dont know, he's my age and I would scrub Fergie's bollocks for free to get a chance to play for United. Having an agent should be made illegal.

In other news I've been listening to Nick Cave all morning UHHHH all the old sexual feelings are coming back. He's on my non-existent five music acts that still live or are together that I really want to see.

Pogba noooooo.

A paper whose name my fingers refuse to type suggests that we are offering him £20,000 pw and he wants us to up that quite a bit.

Which we would, of course, but only once he actually does something in the first team.

lol, Stewart Downing thinks Carroll should be in the England squad. You shouldn't be there, son. Pipe down.

Old sexual feelings for Nick Cave?

J/K. What have you been listening to?

Well I've bummed Abattoir's Blues and Let Love In for years, same with Your Funeral, but I've only really started listening to Lazarus today. Got such a backlog of shit to listen to but man he's so awesome I'm going to listen to him on repeat until I accidentally hear something else and go onto that.

AND I LOVE JUVENTUS DON'T TAKE THAT THE WRONG WAY

Listen to "More News From Nowhere" on Lazarus. It's a cracking song.

Have you heard his other band Grinderman?

That's the song I listened to when I decided to post about it haha!

And yeah I liked Grinderman 2, wasn't a huge fan of the first. I liked Birthday Party as well, they were fun.

An amazing thread I'm sure it will be. A lot of injury updates and possibly new haircut discussion.

Exactly. Salazar will do a painfully in-depth op-ed on Cleverley's pass of the week, involving no less than 5 gifs per pass. Possible triumphant musical accompaniment via YouTube link included.

|OT7| Tom Cleverley - the poor man's Jay Spearing.

There's a certain Nordic creation myth that places some deities fashioning humanity out of primordial clay and spittle, and drinking as they worked. Naturally, as they drank, the quality and completeness of their work declined, which is how certain Scandinavians came to explain physical disabilities, discrepancies in looks, the absence of limbs.

Jay Spearing wasn't made at the beginning.

Nor, to be fair, was Waz.

I think he goes to Tom's hairdresser. For what, I cannot say.
I must admit, the logic of paying £30,000 for a hair transplant, only to keep it as short as it was before the surgery is beyond me.

I for one would like to see him develop a Cavani-esque hairstyle.

Speaking of money and laughable craziness:

The British Olympic Association hope to sell at least one million of the cotton scarves, retailing at £5 for a 50cm square “bandana” or £10 for a larger 90cm version, with the profits all going to support British athletes.

Will sell about as well as Gareth Barry England shirts.
