1/4th through the year. What have you played, how has it been?

Hey all.

I'm hoping to do these threads each quarter with the exception of the 4th quarter since people here already do a massive GOTY thread at the end of the year. This is more for grading and talking about how we've enjoyed the year so far, if we've played new releases or older ones or, heck, just playing a lot of retro.I know several people have already talked about how much they're enjoying the year, but I figure doing it like this would be fun and all-encompassing of everything that has released and if we've even touched this year's releases yet.

I have found myself overwhelmed with games as many of you have. I've bought a few games from this year due to the time it takes me to beat them and financial reasons. But I have a good feeling that, along with some of the enticing summer releases, I'll be catching up on some of the earlier. The games I've played released this year:

  • Gravity Rush 2
  • Horizon: Zero Dawn
Geez, it's really not that much! That's partly because of the games that I've played that didn't release this year that have also taken some time:

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Titanfall 2
  • Infamous: First Light
I actually couldn't finish ROTTR and was very disappointed with the side missions they put into the game, but Titanfall 2 had silky smooth gameplay. And this is coming from someone who normally doesn't play Call of Duty/Battlefield.

Without a Switch, no Zelda yet for me, and it'll likely be a while before I get one, but Zelda will still exist whenever I do =).

So yeah, I've really enjoyed myself, and the two 2017 games I have played have brought a lot of gameplay to the mix. Considering Sony has never tackled a game like Horizon: Zero Dawn, I feel, as others do, that it's a unique contribution to their first party library. Good for Guerrilla!

The other games I'm interested in playing all seem like they take a while to beat. Not like Witcher 3 length, but the games I'm referring to are Nioh, Yakuza 0, Nier: Automata and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Not a lot of short games in the mix. Not complaining, though!

Overall, my opinion isn't too different than many here. I've loved the year, and I've barely scratched it. But the fact that I have a lot to catch up with this summer when they're cheaper is pretty exciting.

I'm providing a list of 2017 games released so far for convenience and also because you may have missed something that's already released. Looking forward to the remaining nine months of 2017.

Due to my lack of time, the only two games I've played are Final Fantasy XV and Night in The Woods.

Final Fantasy XV, I enjoyed a lot, it's not perfect by any means, the story is so disjointed, it's badly in need of more cutscenes and character development for everyone outside the 4 mains, but it had that crucial Final Fantasy feel, it's hard to put my finger on what that is exactly, but it brought back good memories, I haven't really enjoyed FF since X.

Night in the Woods is great, the art style and writing are really fun. I kind of wish I had a more traditional game with some action in to play alongside it though, there isn't too much variation in the gameplay (but it more than makes up for that in other areas).

I wish I had more time to play ALL THESE GAMES COMING OUT. I especially wanted to try out Mass Effect Andromeda, but with the mediocre reviews, I'm not sure I can jsutify the money or time playing that, I'm probably better off with Persona 5 if I get anything.

Wow. Beside BoTW , havent bought anything else this year. Resident Evil 7 and Horizon will be on my buy list when they hit the 20-30$ mark. Also, MLB the Show 17 is on my radar.

It's been a prolific Q1 for playing games to me

I've beaten:

Final Fantasy XV
The Last Guardian
Uncharted 4
Walking Dead Season 2
Night in the Woods
Assassin's Creed Syndicate

I was meant to beat more games of my backlog before Persona 5. I'm going through MGSV and Nioh at the moment, but I don't think I'll beat them before P5.

This year I 100% finished Final Fantasy XV, Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and Nier Automata.

I'm currently working on Zelda BotW.

I'm eagerly anticipating Persona 5 that comes out in 3 days.

School & funds have gotten in the way of me playing as many games as I'd like, sadly.

Only two big releases I've touched from this year are RE7 & Horizon.

Only played a few minutes of RE so I can't really speak on it, but Horizon has been fantastic so far. The world & the combat especially have been top notch.

Persona 5 is up next for the foreseeable future, with Danganronpa 1-2 Reload on the side courtesy of Gamefly. :)

So far this year:

Ratchet and Clank -- Really well-done game that nailed the throw-back feel they were going for. I got a very enjoyable two playthroughs out of it. My son also liked it.

Journey -- I had never gotten around to playing this. I will be honest and admit that I didn't "get it." I don't understand why this got so much praise, but I will write that off as just me being an outlier.

Table Top Racing -- Free PS+ game. Played for a couple of hours before deleting. Trash.

Nioh -- Just finished the platinum. Great game. I don't expect that it will be my GOTY come December, but it will be up there.

I've beaten:

Final Fantasy XV
Gravity Rush 2
The Last Guardian
Yakuza 0
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Snipperclips
Rise of the Tomb Raider (actually didn't finish this one)

That's a very healthy list of games for me, kinda surprised looking at it. Can't wait to dig into Persona 5 as soon as it gets here. I'm debating whether to get Snake Pass on Switch since I don't really have anything else to play on it other than the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo :p

Just listing games bought and players in 2017 in order of completion.

Gravity Rush Remastered.
Gravity Rush 2
Resident Evil 7
Horizon Zero Dawn
Zelda BOTW (still exploring, but have beaten)
Master Blaster Zero (still playing)
Mass Effect Andromeda (still playing)

Incredible Q1 and one of the best quarters ever. I'm pretty burnt out on open world games now though. Will play some more pure gameplay focused stuff for a while after ME:A.

I've played Resident Evil 7 and older games. Haven't really had access to my PS4, so I haven't picked up anything for that.

I'd love to play Zelda, but I don't have either system that it's on.

So I've mostly been playing WoW.

I'll be playing Persona 5 next, and I still have the following in my backlog:

Horizon Zero Dawn
Yakuza 0
Nier: Automata
Tales of Berseria
Gravity Rush 2
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5

Hoping to catch up on things after Persona 5. It's been a great year so far.

Aside from the massive disappointment of Mass Effect it's been a fantastic year so far. Everything else I've been looking forward to has been great

So far I got:

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone - I love it but it's hard as fuuucckkkkk
Nioh - I love it but the lack of enemy variety is starting to rear it's ugly head. (I'm in the 4th region)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - OH MY GOD I LOVE IT HOLY FUCK ITS SOOOOO GOOD. Easily Goty.

Games I missed out on but will get eventually:
RE7- Was too busy with Miku and it fell off my radar. Oops
Yakuza 0 - People keep saying I could start with this one, so I might as well before Kiwami drops.
NieR: Automata - This one especially hurts because I was always super hyped for the game. But it had the misfortune of releasing on the same week as Zelda And I have Persona coming so I still won't be able to play it :(
Dark Souls 3 DLC - Will get it on discount later. Way to busy now.

Creamium

shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
I've played

Stories: Path of Destinies
Color Guardians
Rocket League
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Resident Evil 7
The Beginner's Guide
Nioh (finished first region, had to pause when Zelda hit)
Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Jotun

Zelda was such a huge game that I'm playing some shorter titles I got during the Steam sale as palate cleansers. Currently going through Not a Hero.

Then after those shorter games I will continue Nioh, which is my goty so far. Something I didn't expect in the year BotW hit. I'll get to Nier and Horizon at some point too.

Beat:
Nier: Automata
Yakuza 0
Zelda: Breath of The Wild

Started:
Night In The Woods
Nioh
Horizon

Next up:
Persona 5

Excellent year thus far. I would put Nier at the top of my list, as it does everything I've wanted a sci-fi story to do and gave me all the feels ever. Yakuza and Zelda are both incredible and charming in their own ways. Starting Persona next week should be a dream as well.

That's similar to what my friend said about FFXV. He really loved it, got a plat, all of that, but he did mention some of its shortcomings that felt like there were different directions the developers wanted to go over time.

I still have it wrapped up, but I plan on getting to it and seeing for myself.

Of the games I've played, I put the most time into Zelda and Mass Effect.

Still finishing stuff up in Nier and I've just started Persona. Bulletstorm, Yooka-Laylee and a good section of my backlog are up next. Thankfully, things are fairly chill with games like Mario Kart and Puyo Puyo until May. That gives us all a month to get situated (but really that means a whole month to sink into Persona)

EDIT: To those keeping Excel docs, I'm write there with you.

Of games that released this year, Zelda and gravity rush 2.

I have yakuza 0 and re7 arriving from my $1 gamefly trial.

Of games that didn't release this year, I played 40 hours of dq7, finally finishing that, and I started and finished Pokémon Sun this year.

For new games this year I've played the following:
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone
Gravity Rush 2
NieR Automata
Zelda
Super Bomberman R
Chaos Code on Steam

So far, NieR is by far my favorite title this year. The story, characters, and OST were all excellent and the general gameplay was great fun too. I'm really happy this game turned out well considering how hard I was burned on the first title.

Zelda and Miku are my other favorites. It's awesome to see a home port of the arcade Miku game, and there's a staggering amount of content. It's challenging and incredibly addicting. Zelda by all means is a game I would normally hate (not into open world games), but it's executed so perfectly that it's hard not to be impressed by it. I don't have any burning desire to play it nonstop like I did with NieR, but it's a fantastic game.

Gravity Rush 2, on the other hand, was very disappointing. While the dialogue is still just as fun as the original, the mission design is just very unfortunate and ended up hurting the game a lot for me. I found myself enjoying it less and less as it went on and I say this as someone who did really like the first. It's a shame.

I also have Dragon Quest VIII 3DS which I have yet to start. I'm sure I'll love it considering I loved the original game.

I've played Horizon, Gravity Rush 2, Bloodborne.

I've only completed Horizon so far and think it's a masterpiece. Aloy is one of the best characters in video games.

I was enjoying Bloodborne but had to put it on the back burner cause my brother wanted to replay the game.

Gravity Rush 2 has been a disappointment. I'm enjoying it way less than the first game. I'm fighting with the camera most of the game, collecting gems on buildings with balconies is Hell, the side quests are some of the worst most repetitive quests in a game I've played recently. The game is still charming and I like Kat but with the game being much longer, I'm thinking of stopping for awhile tbh. Combat isn't fun either.

This year has been stacked with some of the best games of the generation. Almost wish more of these games would have been spread out to either last year, or even later this year. We even got a new Nintendo console!

So far ive finished:

Final Fantasy XV
Resident Evil 7
Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Backlogged:

Horizon
Yakuza 0
Nier Automata
Styx Shards of Darkness
Gravity Rush 2

Dropped:

I Am Setsuna
Nioh
Rainbow Six Siege
Mass Effect Andromeda

Out of all those though ive only finished Zelda and FFXV lol. Put a bunch of them on my backlog and even dropped a few completely.

Biggest Dissapointments out of those so far have been Mass Effect, Rainbow Six, and I Am Setsuna. Setsuna is great, dont get me wrong, but I really would have liked to see them had more time to work on it and maybe had a few more settings other than snow. Mass Effect on the other hand was just a huge wreck. Patching out the bad animations isnt going to fix the horrible story and world in that game. Out of all of Bioware properties, this game should have been the one they poured the most into. I mean wtf where they thinking! I really hope they have the old ME team working on something special since they werent on this game. Even though its probably just Star Wars.

Final Fantasy was by far my favorite PS4 game in a long time, probably since MGSV. 2017 has seen a ton of open world games and im almost burned out on them now after getting through FFXV and Zelda. Speaking of Zelda, who would have thought it would have been anywhere near as good as it is. I mean yeah the preview footage looked great but Nintendo hasnt necessarily had the best track record with their more recent Zelda games that arent 2D. Also finished Resident Evil 7, almost forgot about it lol. Great game and such an improvement over RE 6, but I hope that they dont try to make a ton more like it becuase after awhile its just going to turn into Call of Duty Resident Evil. It worked really well with the type of story they were trying to do, but not sure if they could pull it off again a second or even third time.

Before Persona 5 comes out and just destroys my social life and backlog, Im going to be playing Nier to try and finish a coupe endings if possible. Other than P5 though, im working on getting my NIN to lvl 60 in FFXIV so im ready for Samurai!

This year thus far has been mainly trying to finish off my backlog with a new game sprinkled here and there.

This list is in order of me beating them this year and some thoughts on each.

1 Skyrim: Started it last year and finished it early in the year so not sure if it counts and it was my first time ever playing it and it was good not as great as I expected however. 7.5/10

2 Batman Telltale game: Game had some technical issues that forced me to restart 2 of the chapters, but otherwise I enjoyed it. 7/10

3 Banner Saga 2: Didn't enjoy it as much as the first game story wise, but still a solid game and can't wait for the final game to come out. 7.5/10

4 Infamous First Light: Solid stand alone DLC for Infamous Second Son. Awesome gameplay, but much like Second Son the story was lacking. 7/10

5 Yakuza 0: My first entry into the Yakuza series and I'm sold on any other game they ever release. Such an amazing game and would've been my GoTY last year. 9.5/10

6 Wolfenstein: The New Order: Such a great game. I'm not usually a fan of shooters in fact the only other shooter I've played this gen longer than 4 hours is Destiny, but this game had it's hooks in me from the start. Great story and can't wait for the next entry in the series. 8/10

7 Resident Evil Remake: First time playing this game since I originally played it on the PS1 and still an amazing experience. 9/10

8 Dear Esther: I'm still not sure what I think about this game. I gave this game a chance after enjoying Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and it didn't quite hit me as much as Rapture. 6/10

9 Horizon Zero Dawn: Game of the generation for me. Such an amazing game, everything from the combat to the story to the little things like Guerrilla Games attention to the smallest detail. 10/10

10 Heavy Rain: How I've never played this game before is beyond me. I have played Beyond 2 Souls previously and while I did enjoy it this game is that much better and has me more hyped for Detroit Become Human. 8.5/10

An hour of BOTW
Dishonored 2

I bought Grav Rush 2 on sale and Hitman, but haven't cracked them open.

Wish I had more time for even BOTW.

I got the Japanese release of Miku: Future Tone last year and still play it.

But I've finished:

-Yakuza 0
-The Legend of Zelda: BOTW

Wrapping up:
-Nier Automata (third playthrough)
-Blaster Master 0 (been playing it very sparingly)

I've shelved Nioh because it really clicked for me at first and then I found myself more and more disinterested in it. Zelda killed my interest in it somewhat to boot.

Persona 5 is going to dominate most of my spare time and I have zero qualms in surrendering myself to it. I'll clear Nier before then.

So far, nothing from 2017.

Rise of the Tombraider: fun, but nor as good as the previous game.
Virginia: Weird, but beautiful.
Spelunky: loving those daily challenges, it is still one of the greatest game ever, imho.

I haven't purchased anything. Thanks to Redbox I've played HZD, surprisingly a really good game. Nothing more, Nothing less. I'm really into disc jam provided through PlayStation Plus. I am a season pass owner for the new walking dead by telltale, so I have that to look forward to whenever new episodes hit. Loving it! But TT never disappoints me.

Thankfully for my backlog, that I purposely have for times like this, when there is not a lot of games that are appealing to me. I finished episode 2 to 5 of tales from the borderlands. Beyond amazing game. I started and finished the order 1886. Solid game that had some problems but overall would love to see it improved on. I have plenty of more titles to help me get through until hopefully something I actually wanna buy. Outside of the new COD. There's a lot of PSN games I wanna play. Just a lack of money to pick them up.

Games I've played released this year:

- Tales of Berseria (halfway through);
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (currently playing, 75+ hours in).

Games I've played released before this year:

- Final Fantasy XV (finished);
- Trails of Cold Steel II (finished).

Not a large number of games, but each game will last (or has lasted) me 60+ hours (some much more than that), so still a decent amount of gaming put in I feel. Each game has been amazing fun, with Zelda being the best by far (which tells you something about how good I think that game is).

Scribblenauts Unlimited (WiiU)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (3DS)
Chase: Cold Case Investigations ~Distant Memories~ (3DS)
Steal Princess (NDS)
Samurai Warriors 4 (PS4)
R: Racing Evolution (PS2)

I spent the early part of the year trying to clear out as much of my backlog as possible before Zelda. Nothing to really write home about

The majority of time has Zelda with I'm somewhat close to finishing.

Zelda has been one of a kind experience but not in a good way. I started out loving it and thinking that it was certainly worthy of GOTY, best Zelda ever, and GOAT discussions after the first 100 hundred hours. After the second 100 hours none of that is really on the table and I just want to be done with it. So many issues have cropped up that have really soured me on it. It's not the worst Zelda, far from it actually, but it's the only one I can honestly say I will never play a second time.

So yeah, not a great start so far.

Titanfall 2: PS4. Dabbled in single player and multi. Very well made game. Multiplayer is some of the best I've played this gen.

Zelda BotW: Switch. Incredible game, I don't think there's much to say that hasn't already been said.

Lords of the Fallen PC: Finished the campaign and enjoyed it far more then I expected. Had to shake my head at the atrocious npc characters though. They shouldn't be standing around while monsters are flinging themselves at me (and ignoring them).

Super Hot PC: Simply awesome and a twist on the genre that we've never seen before. This is one of those "one more game" Type of games. I dug the art style as well.

Diablo UE PC: Went back and finished the PC campaign. Did the Diablo throwback. It's a timeless classic for me.

Turok the Dinosaur Hunter PC: More of a pick up and play novelty for me. I enjoy hearing the old sounds and music more then anything else. The actual game doesn't really do much for me.

Mad Max PC: I'm just going to say MM is the most fun I've had in an open world game in a long loooong time. Yes, that includes Zelda. Ripping around the desert in my souped up vehicle taking shit out with my hook, and beating the living shit out of enemies is a beautiful thing. Even better in 4K.

Shadow Warrior 2 PC: The best fps to release last year, and nobody noticed. It's a crime. Kicks Doom's ass seven days a week and twice on Sunday.

Hearthstone: iOS: My daily go to game.

Cursed Castilla EX PC: Man, as a big G&G fan from the arcade days, this is a blessing. Superb work not only in capturing the feel, but the sounds are perfect! Wonderful game, and I'm in for Super Hydorah.

Dragon Quest Heroes PC: Just bought this last night and it's just been such a long time since I've played a Dragon Quest anything. I love the light hearted whimsical nature of these games and the art work is vibrant and a pleasure to take in. This might beat Hyrule Warriors for me.

Enter the Gungeon PC: Overhead shooting? I'm in a dungeon? Oh baby I'm in!

Odds and ends...

Splatoon Splatfest: Day one for this. I just hope the wi-fi situation is fixed.

Street Fighter V Capcom network beta thing: Fun, but I'm still waiting on purchasing.

I'm probably forgetting some...

Yakuza 0: Decided to take the plunge after the positive word of mouth around GAF and absolutely loved. One of my favorite games of the generation!

Resident Evil 7: Shocked by how much I enjoyed it! Brilliant level design, spooky but not too spooky and a nice return to form.

Ys Origin: Decent little ARPG. I probably won't finish it though.

Horizon Zero Dawn: A masterpiece! Great story, presentation and an incredibly realized world. Also sets a new standard for combat in an open-world game.

Snake Pass: A lovely and unique little platformer that feels good after so many huge open games this year.

Mass Effect Andromeda: Took awhile to get going but I'm enjoying it quite a bit even with the blemishes.

I have to say it's been an amazing year so far. Yakuza and Horizon are two of my favorite games of the generation, maybe ever, and I've been thoroughly enjoying Resident Evil, Mass Effect and Snake Pass.

That's similar to what my friend said about FFXV. He really loved it, got a plat, all of that, but he did mention some of its shortcomings that felt like there were different directions the developers wanted to go over time.

I still have it wrapped up, but I plan on getting to it and seeing for myself.

It's worth trying, moreso if you're a fan of Final Fantasy. Either way, the animation and art direction in that games is suuuuperb and probably worth playing for that alone.

Great year so far

The year as a whole has been really fun gaming-wise, and I'm trying to shoot for 36 games finished by the end - seems I'm just a bit short but if I can keep up the increased tempo then it should be doable. The best bit has been getting a 2DS, and thus access to a lot of Nintendo / handheld only stuff that I'd never been able to try before (I keep saying it but Bravely Default really stands out here, as does Fire Emblem: Awakening), and also getting into visual novels. The variety is really making things so much fun. Not really focusing on this year's releases though.

My list:

LA Noire (PS3) - Meh. Really wanted to like this game but it felt very forced, especially towards the end.

Bravely Default (3DS) - The first game I finished on the 2DS and a great great great game that really showcased how great the system and its games can be. I loved so much about it, and am very much anticipating playing through Bravely Second. I hope the franchise gets more entries, too. This could be one of the best RPGs I've played.

The Walking Dead Season 2 - Really underwhelming. I liked that they did something new with letting you play as Clementine but other than that it wasn't as good as the first game, and the sense that
your choices don't really matter
felt really prevalent. I really don't think Telltale's games are for me, honestly.

Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS) - Took a chance on this and was very very surprised - another game that justifies the jump on the 2DS. It's so fun to play and I kept wanting to play just one more batttle, which (like Bravely Default) often wound up leading to 2+ hour play sessions. There were a lot of other battles I could've taken, too, so it's not starved for content. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

Battlefield Hardline (PS3) - I quite liked this, honestly, and more than I expected to. I liked the presentation, and I thought it was an interesting enough story, especially towards the end. Plus the more stealth-esque sections weren't so hard which helped (I suck at stealth). I think in future I'd be much more inclined to play BF campaigns than CoD campaigns.

Baldur's Gate EE (PC) - It was fun to finally finish this off, as it means being able to play through Siege of Dragonspear and then Baldur's Gate II (for which I have high hopes) but several of the things they did in I annoyed me - the lack of inventory management compared to Icewind Dale EE, the lower XP cap meaning fewer interesting spells, and well, the story was quite bland.

Pokemon Omega Ruby (3DS) - I wanted to like this, but didn't really like it in the end. It felt pretty bland, and some of the things they did (you're basically forced to keep some pokemon around for HMs for example) annoyed me. Maybe I'll give the series another shot, maybe not. We'll see.

The Last of Us: Left Behind (PS3) - Good game, and fun, but not *essential*. It didn't carry as much impact for me as the original did but was still fun to play through.

Fire Emblem Fates : Birthright

What did you think of it?

Gravity Rush 2 = finished B+
RE7 = finished A
Nioh = finished A
NieR: A = finished A+
Horizon = finished B+
Zelda = finished A+
Persona 5 = half way A+ (Finished Japanese version before)

Barely alive, I guess.

Played, finished, and in order:

- Gravity Rush 2
- Nioh
- Horizon Zero Dawn

Playing right now (and struggling):

- Mass Effect Andromeda

Horizon is my GOTY so far. No second place yet but GR2 and Nioh are pretty good games.

Looking forward for the rest of the year (of what it's supposed to release this year):

- Uncharted Lost Legacy
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Destiny 2
- Final Fantasy XII

Black Friday so far:

- Resident Evil VII
- Nier Automata
- Kingdome Hearts Whatever Collection
- Persona 5

The only game I've bought that released this year is Mass Effect Andromeda. Absolutely loving it so far, about 37hrs in atm. Think it'll make my top 10 favourites when I'm done, or top 20 at the very least.

I've also finished:
  • Pokemon Sun - wasn't a fan of the seemingly constant hand-holding but other than that I loved it. I've never been disappointed with mainline Pokemon
  • Dungeon Siege 3 - was a little shorter then I expected, it could've certainly done with a couple more meaty quests but overall I enjoyed it. Definitely think I'll replay it with the other protags at some point
  • Demon's Souls - I've had it for years but never even got halfway, really happy to finally beat it. I love it, the atmosphere is amazing. I've aready planned how I'll play it in my next playthrough
  • Dark Souls - I've also had this a while and never got very far. I didn't like it quite as much as Demon's & there was a point after getting the Lordvessel that I felt I was forcing myself through a bit but it's still a great game. Think I'll replay it someday
Also started a replay of Persona 3 Portable, this time as the girl protag & I'm loving all of the changes that brings. It's kinda been put on hold as the console games stole my attention

I've been playing Lego Harry Potter Collection on and off since xmas too, never played any of the lego HP games before. They're adorable & good fun

Great year for me so far!

Edit: There are a LOT of games that released this year I plan on buying at some point, I just usually don't buy at release since I already have older games waiting. Horizon, Torment, Nier, Danganronpa 1&2, Kingdom Hearts remix, Vikings Wolves of Midgard, Digimon World, Nioh, Zelda BOTW, Poochie & Yoshi's woolly world... think I'm forgetting a couple too

played re7, botw, snipperclips, a little bit of gravity rush 2, and a few hours of nier automata.

i also have horizon and will get into it after i've put some serious distance between that and zelda.

great year so far, and it's only going to get better. really think this could top 1998 in terms of genre-defining games and instant classics.

Just pruchased 1 game and played 2 games from my backlog

street fighter V - awesome gameplay and graphics. Annoying single player modes and Im terrible online

Need for speed 2015 - The most fun game I played on console for years. Its my go to game for chill play

Metal gear solid V - During act one I thought the game was GOAT contender, but it crashed and burned during act 2 never finished it (saw ending on youtube). Game did not respect my time

Plans for the remaining of 2017
Continue to grind and become better on Street fighter V
Continue to chill play need for speed
Continue Danganronpa 2 which I have had a year break from
