UEFA should have atleast one more spot though. Denmark and Sweden were robbed!
As a Dane I can honestly say that we weren't robbed.

Look, we know it won't last, so let us squawk like idiots for a few days...That may be so, but for now, let them (the CONCACAF Gaffers) enjoy the moment of glory. They deserve it after all.
As for Germany, well, as long as Italy remains in the competition, it'll be a tall order for them to win lol.
(Supporting Germany to win here.)
Kind of hard to not have more presence in the semifinals when you have almost half the slots.
Europe regularly has more than half the slots in the semis with less then half of the teams as you said yourself. So to manage that we HAVE to be better, else it'd gravitate to 2/4 or 1/4 more often. We have the slots because we deserve them (so far).
That's not a Italian though, is he? His name is German. I'm confused.
As a Dane I can honestly say that we weren't robbed.
Yes.This CONCACAF circlejerk is pretty sad. You think non-Italian Europeans give a shit about Italy?
Well I sure haven't seen much of it. People were saying the US would be lucky to even score a goal, let alone win a game. Mexico wasn't given much of a chance of advancing. Costa Rica didn't have a prayer.
Basically, for European football fans it all boils down to this. How many players do you have on your national team that play in the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga or the Bundesliga? If it's a lot, you are good. If not, you are crap. That's the entire extent of Eurosnobs' footballing analysis.
There is good football being played in leagues other than the European ones though.

You fucking event mugs, who come out like rats during the WC, talking about salt and piss off again when it's over and the league starts and just have some interest for the sport when the Classico is on again can suck a big fat dick. Fucking cunts.
We are not likely out. Uruguay has to win. We just need to draw. Still it won't be easy.Spain out
England out
Italy likely out
Portugal likely out
I bet there's only like 2 Euro teams gonna be left over in the quarter finales. Money is on Holland and Germany.
Its impossible not to.
In 2010 beat Portugal, Paraguay and Germany to reach the final.
In 2006, France had to beat Portugal, Brazil and Spain and Italy had to beat Germany, Ukraine and Australia
If you only play european teams together, of course a european team reaches the end.
Non-sense, this is war

How long before ITV mentions England.
Im going for 2 seconds.
I guess I've just never seen any of this ridiculing and mocking you speak off. But whatever, support who you wanna support. You would be circlejerking too if your region was ridiculed and mocked for decades as being a bunch of easy teams that don't belong on a big stage. They're showing that they do belong, and yeah us CONCACAF bros are taking some long awaited pride in that.
Because some folks seem under the impression that this was some sort of concacaf vs uefa match.why do you think we give a shit?
We are not likely out. Uruguay has to win. We just need to draw. Still it won't be easy.
All Italy needs is a draw against Uruguay.
Why would we be? Did we get knocked out all of a sudden????
Here are some of the teams that did not qualify from Europe.
Serbia, Denmark, Czech Rep, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and Poland. These are good teams that can compete against a lot of nations now playing in the WC.
What teams compare in CONCACAF for example?
True, i rarely get out of the gaming area of gaf. But i've never watched a meltdown like this due football. Seriously, wtf?

So Australia, Brazil and Paraguay are European teams now? Interesting. If the non-euro teams had played better and actuallly won this list would include even more non-euro teams. Thank you for agreeing with me. Euro got the slots because we deserved them. Its impossible not to.

Portugal have two easy games coming up, they should be fine.

It is basically a knock out game for us now and seeing we have only lost one knockout game in 90 minutes in some 26 years, I feel very confident.

On June 20 in World Cup history: French players go on strike in Knysna, South Africa, in 2010.
To many, this is the most embarrassing day in French football history. Four years on from losing the World Cup final to Italy in a penalty shootout, the French squad in South Africa was in disarray. The players refused to train following the decision by the French Football Federation to expel striker Nicolas Anelka for a verbal onslaught on coach Raymond Domenech. Two days later, France crashed out of the World Cup, coming last in its group, after losing its final match against the host 2-1. The ignominy was complete.
