I don't know anything about this anime but I want to watch it for the cute Corgi. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

they did a great job bringing this part into the anime. even though this is the 2nd eps, but I feel this is the true begining of this anime. things will keep getting more nuts as our protagonist keeps going towards his goal.

Rewatched Episode 1 of Dandadan and than watched the 2nd episode. Still a fantastic Adaptation so far

Than I caught up with the manga. I was 10 Chapters behind and I can't wait for the next chapter to come out.

I caught up with One Piece Manga and there's some interesting stuff happening 👀

the true best girl/waifu this season has finally stepped onto the stage. pacing of 1st eps feels a little rush but I'm happy with them keeping the vibe of the manga over all.

show is Yakuza Fiance: Raisewa Taningali. the manga is an really good and I've been looking forward to the show since I heard about it getting adapted.

Watched Chained Soldier and Gushing Over Magical Girls, cause I was in the mood for some ecchi. I quite liked the latter, the former was just okay.

Are their any other good ecchi series with nudity that are worth seeing?

Chained Soldier the anime is pretty mid. The manga is more ecchi lol

I personally really like High School DxD. There are 4 seasons of it
Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World is pretty good and lewd too

Watched the spyxfamily movie. Essentially just a really long episode of the anime, but still good.

Also rewatched Kaguya sama because I had to kill time at various airports and hotels.

Yeah Chained Soldier is better in the manga. The art and action scenes are terrific.
Ecchi but no nudity
Older series:
Burn Up
Burn Up Exceess
Agent Akia
Dirty Pair
Dirty Pair Flash (one scene has nudity)
Golden Boy
Voogie's Angel
Queen's Blade
Witch Blade
Najica Blitz Tactics
Devil Hunter Yoko (has nudity)
Godannar
Manyuu Hikenchou (has nudity)
Prison School
Newer:
Keijo
Interspecies Reviewers (explicit sex scenes but fun as hell)
Plus Sized Elf (has nudity)

There are several older boobs & butt series, though worth noting many have pretty garbo stories.
Highschool DxD, Seikon no Qwaser, Freezing, Sekirei, Omamori Himari, Hyakka Ryouran, KissXSis, OniAi (not to be confused with OniMai), Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid, Yosuga no Sora, Rosario+Vampire, Ikki Tousen, Highschool of the Dead, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, World's End Harem, Masou Gakuen HxH, Super HxEros, Demon King Dai-Maou, Testament of Sister New Devil, I Couldn't Become a Hero, So I Reluctantly Decided to Get a Job (Yuushibu), a bunch of sequels to several of the previous, and a lot of stuff I'm probably forgetting right now (even though I likely watched it).

there's actually a lot of series this season I'm gonna be following. Didn't think it would be so packed.
Re;Zero, Danmachi, Gun Gale II, 365 Days to the Wedding, Ranma 1/2, Let the Griving Soul Retire, Villainess Who go Down in History, Amagami Sisters, Talker, Good bye, Dragon Life, Natsume Book of Friends is what I have on my list.

Why is Crunchyroll service so bad? I tried paying them, credit card was rejected 14 times. Eventually I paid by Paypal. Now my bank called me about suspicious payments, and I had to explain that the site didn't work. Funny thing is that I paid them 1 year ago via credit card and it worked without issues.

Btw, Crunchyroll library in my country kinda sucks ass. But there is still enough new shit to keep me busy. Just watched Wistoria and that was awesome classic shounen, now I'm watching Kaiju No. 8 and I just love the scenes where blood rains all over MC after he one punches a Kaiju. It is hilarious.

Still, I can't forgive them from removing Attack On Titan season 1 and Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest in my region (wtf did they do, it was available for only 3 weeks in my region).

IIRC they become really bad since the Funimation merger

despite being raised as "normal" as possible, and being dorky and naive most of the time, when shit is on the line, Yoshino's yakuza blood always lets you know what's actually underneath that beautiful surface. matching that with the crazy/creep fucker that is Kirishima, they're the true power couple this season IMO.

so, despite my love for Yakuza Fiance: Raisewa Taningali manga, and that the anime is actually pretty decent so far, I'm going to advocate for people to not watch it. my apologies for dragging some BS into the anime/manga thread, but allow me to explain.

so I think a lot of us know about the Sexy Tanaka San manga to live action TV show controversy that led to the suicide death of the manga artist.

long story short, even after promising the creator that she would get to be involve with all the decision making processes, she was more or less kept out of the production until the episodes started to air. she then stepped in and demand them to change the script, which led to the writer leaving the show and forcing her, while still doing her manga work, to came up with a replacement story for the last two episodes of the TV series, which received negative reviews and causing a lot of people to criticize her without knowing the whole truth. thus ending in her suicide.

currently Yakuza Fiance: Raisewa Taningali is going through somewhat of a similar controversy. the manga artist had asked for the publisher to wait until the manga finished it's serialization before going for the anime adaptation. but it seems the publisher did not care and just wanted to push the show through so they can strike the iron while it's hot, so to speak, in order to get more revenue. the manga artist had publicly voiced her opinion about it and had went on hiatus since March this year. I had no idea since I don't use any of the social media platforms, and only because a YouTube channel I subscribed to was just talking about this did I find out. it's really sad that publishers keep disrespecting the creator's wishes just to make a quick buck and I hope things will get better for the creator eventually.

Finished My Hero Academia's latest season. And what massive cliffhanger it ended on, sheesh!

Started Shangri-La Frontier. Hate the concept of 'gaming' anime but will give this one a go on account of some funny bits and some good quality animation.

The second season of Tower of God has been an absolute trainwreck and I don't think I can be arsed to finish it.

Yeah, I’ve heard about the animation quality. What’s funny is I remember a few fans complaining during Season 1 about its animation, which sure wasn’t amazing, but a show doesn’t have to always be UFOtable, MAPPA, Kyoto Ani, etc. level of animation to be enjoyable. Now Season 1 must look amazing in comparison.

Damn, was really hyped when they announced Season 2, I loved Season 1 of Tower of God. A fun cast, an interesting world, some clever riddles and strategies, and that godtier music by the legend Kevin Penkin. Oh well, will just have to start reading the web comic (and thankfully they are doing physical volumes of it in the US now as I’m not big on reading digitally).

What I like about Shangri-La Frontier is that they not only play that game only, but also different games.

The GGC arc is pretty great, it's a fighting game exhibition match arc.

I watched the first 2 episodes and enjoyed it enough. I went and read the first 2 light novels afterwards. Sadly their not quite as good, I would say the Anime makes a few adjustments so the viewer can breath while the light novel just moves at a break neck pace.

It's a bit like that... guilty pleasure The Eminence in Shadow. Where the light novels are simply put, some of the worst iv read. But the anime feels coherent and even fun at times.

Only 2 episodes in so no idea if it will result in the same, but I'm hoping it is, because the LN's sure arnt worth reading.

Man, I wish I could get into light novels, but I feel either the translators tend to translate too literally which results in an awkward read (yes, you want to be accurate, but translating too literally will not result in it sounding normal in English) or there’s some other issue because the Re:Zero and Devil is a Part Timer light novels just felt off to read for me. No Game No Life and Spice and Wolf were not as rough but still not great. The Haruhi Suzumiya light novels are the only ones that felt legit good to read, I read the first five (kind of lost interest in reading, apparently the last few just feel like the author doesn’t care anymore, maybe it was a good thing the anime ended on Disappearance).

My problem with light novels is sometimes I get confused who's saying what. From what I have read, they never include the subject when someone is talking. In Japanese, it's maybe you can differentiate with how they are speaking. Not in English (for me)

Rewatched Steins;Gate, seemed appropriate given its 15th anniversary. Ugh, my heart. Story and music hit damn hard, even after all these years. Still my favorite anime.

Well that sounds unfortunate. Is it just the animation or did they completely drop the ball on adapting the source?

To say again, it's very unfortunate. As someone who keeps up to date on reading the comic, there's a lot of awesomeness that could have made a really amazing anime experience. My best guess is since it's not Japanese it never received the budget it needed.

Makes me cautious of the anime adaptation of Omniscient Reader.

The animation and writing took an absolute nosedive. Some very questionable editing as well and they literally just go from one place/time to the next without any explanation. It's bizarre really.

IIRC the story is bad too. I read the webtoon but dropped it because Rachel? is really annoying.

Damn, sounds like went God of High School on it, only as least that show got high quality animation, it’s just they were so focused on getting to the fights that they cut out all the character and story development from the webcomic.

I hate Tower of God writing. At first it was interesting because I found it unusual since it was my first manhwa, but then I realized that the characters were inconsistent.

It's hard to explain what I mean by that. I guess you could say that I found the personalities of the characters to be unstable/underdeveloped to the point it made them unbelievable and boring even by anime standards.

Also, it's obvious that TOG writer does not plan his story.

-Minsc-

I'd say consume ToG (comic) in the same manner as one would DBZ. Power up and go. If one is fine with inconsistencies and just enjoys the art then one should be good to go.

I had a huge stack of manhwa I was reading but thinned them out. My selection is mainly limited to those on the webtoon app.

The two newest series I've gotten into are "Surviving the Apocalypse" and "The Knight Only Lives Today". Both series I'm about fifteen chapters in on free.

Apocalypse does a good job showcasing humanity being screwed. At one moment there's a glimmer of hope. Then there's not. At this point I have no idea if the carrot will overshadow the stick.

Knight is basically the first "groundhog day" by dying manhwa I've wandered into. The guy dies? No problem. He'll just keep trying again until he survives to see the next day. Each death is an opportunity for growth.

Just watched Dandadan ep 4. Perfect adaptation. Didn't expect that music in the action scene

This show is so GOOD, extremely happy they were able to properly adapt the manga. As I said before I'm a huge fan of the manga. Hopefully the rest of the episodes are up there in quality since so far I'm extremely impressed with what what they pulled off so far. Science Saru is on my watch list when it comes to what they are working on in the future. I'm planning on checking out anime they already worked on previously

I can't wait for Season 2

Science Saru is famous for "weird" anime, especially the one from Masaaki Yuasa.

Some famous titles from them are Ping Pong the Animation, Space Dandy, and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!

Space Dandy was primarily overseen by studio Bones I believe. Science Saru worked on two episodes but nothing else, it was a collaboration of many animators and directors coming in all to do an episode or two.

I couldn't get into Space Dandy but I'll check out the rest of anime they worked on 👀

Also check out their film The Night is Short, Walk on Girl, it is a wonderfully entertaining film. While not needed to watch in order, be aware that is the spiritual successor in a way to The Tatami Galaxy as identical character designs are used for some characters and has a similar vibe (as the original novels for both are from the same author). Tatami Galaxy was animated by Madhouse, but has a similar style, and would definitely make my top 20 anime series of all time personally.
