Yeah, she had health issues. That's why the release schedule is also slowing down. In the beginning, it was bi-weekly, but later on, it became monthly.
I was disappointed that it become the standard romcom that ended after the confession
I was hoping it was like The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses and The Dangers in My Heart, the story still continued after the confession.

I'm actually fine with it ending soon. When it comes to romance shoujo, as a shipper I get bored after the characters get together and the whole will they won't they tension is for me what kept the story interesting. So it's ending on a good note even though there are some loose ends

Ah. I prefer seeing couples story like the titles I previously mentioned and also Sweat and Soap (anything by Yamada Kintetsu)

Weebs of GAF I need your help

I read a Manga years ago I'm trying to find again because I never finished it. Best way I could describe it is that it's a "soft apocalypse" of with an android maid after civilization collapsed.

Parasyte is a great watch. So happy it got a strong adaptation given how old the manga is. Remember glacing at it back in the 90's.

Danmachi S5 ended on a decent note. Now to wait and watch how this season's Re;Zero finishes.

Yeah I kept forgetting granted i can't tell the difference BTW Korean and Japanese besides a few words.
it's still a Japanese produced anime, all the voice acting is in Japanese. Which is kind of funny cause they have scenes where there is a translator when the Japanese and Korean hunters meet and they all speak the same language.

the most clear things are character names, and Jeju Island.

A Shonen Jump manga getting an anime adaptation…….and said manga was cancelled after five volumes back in 2018 (though the writer apparently was able to give it an ending albeit a rushed one). This sort of announcement just doesn’t happen.

It’s looking kind of fire though, so I’m here for it.

I’ve been watching Parasyte. It is thought provoking, a hallmark of good science fiction. The story has been moving at a good pace so far.
Great classic manga from the 90s

AFAIK, the author is given 3 chapters to end the story if the manga is axed.

Judging from the anime for Parasyte, the manga could have been written last year, not 30 years ago. It is not dated at all. Zero tropes so far. Interesting topics like the nature of identity, and how humans treat animals.

Looks like there’s an upcoming figure skating sim game which got announced recently with choreography by pro figure skater Akiko Suzuki, who also choreographed the skating for the anime series Medalist.

So if you like sim games, anime, and skating, you might want to keep an eye on this indie game.

What is everyone's favorite anime? I'm looking for recommendations that AREN'T modern Shonen slump, preferably something that's action-packed, mainly from the mid-late 2000s or early-mid 2010s, yet is somewhat shorter than the average old-school shonen show.

Don't know if I have a favorite, but why are you asking for late 00s to 10s shonen and then saying you don't want it to be shonen?

World Trigger. Season 1 is a slog (bad adaptation), but season 2 and 3 so good.
