I get your point, and actually i often find myself frustrated reading some threads because you have to skip half of the posts just to find the interesting ones.
About the hivemind mentality, i only know of LectureMaster who systematically has 20+ reactions to every dei related posts he makes. It is just mindboggling to me. But he must say things that resonate with gaffers, he forces no one to approve what he says. I think that is the good thing here, no one will force you to approve. They can seethe, call you a retard or whatever, but in the end you aren't forced by anyone, unlike the other place...

I don't think it's an individual poster but the topic itself. Whenever Ubisoft, Horizon or to a lesser extend Naughty Dog are mentioned I feel like I'm transported to a different place where I'm the only person capable of being logical and it's just sad seeing reply after reply with zero facts or logic and just pure hatred for no apparent reason. I just wonder if I missed a GAF meeting or something.

Anyway, I won't derail this more, people are free to post or hate what they like. I just find some of it a little concerning. I'm out.

But since you were mentioning this, if you pay attention, I almost never said anything at all, all I did was making memes. So I guess folks just wanted a good laugh about DEI or any ridiculousness in the western gaming industry.

Edit: Damn, the sheer hate for Ubisoft on GAF will forever remain a mystery to me. Feels like in every Ubisoft thread, regardless of context, I read the exact same replies. If I didn't know any better, I'd say GAF was filled with bots.

Yes, we would all benefit if Ubisoft could find the way back to their old ways. I hope someone at Ubisoft get a genius idea for a new IP, preferably for a single player game even if there's less potential money to be made. Their current ones are getting old. It's still possible to make a good game, Prince of Persia is proof of that. I'm still getting amazed by the amount of work and craftsmanship they put in to the AC games when I play them.

I like to think I keep my ear pretty close to the ground on games, there’s very very few I’ve never heard of, but literally never heard nor seen this anywhere. Also, lol there’s 2 players on it right now, given it’s a multiplayer game I assume they are just sat in a lobby unable to actually find a match.

I don’t think Shadows will completely flop but sales will be softer vs Valhalla or Odyssey.

If people are anything like me yes. Even if AC shadows looked amazing and i wanted to play it i still wouldnt. Knowing this is Ubisofts last chance i'd do anything in my power to see that ship sink. I'd buy it after the bankruptcy.

I remember watching prince of persia trailors along with rainbox six games. Later we got advanced warfighter series. I never thought this day will come for Ubisoft. What a downfall.

UBI stock still at 11 euros.

It bottomed out at 9 way back, rebounded and spike to 13-14 when buyout rumours came around. Slowly trending back down to 11.

The last time the stock was naturally at around 10-15 euros was in 2014. Then jumped to about 100 in 2018. Then dropped like a rock.

That was the peak during early access 8 months ago.

The post-launch peak was 24 players. This is like a Dustborn level bomb.
