could be. But I don’t think they’d give you this kind of early access incentive if they were expecting a stellar critical reception.Game could be super awesome, or could be super bad. Like any game.
Ok.could be. But I don’t think they’d give you this kind of early access incentive if they were expecting a stellar critical reception.
BTW they did the exact same thing with Starfield. 5 days early access if you preordered…. and the early access period began a whopping 8 hours after the review embargo.
Why do you think? Because some gamers might be dissuaded by the reviews.
BTW after Outer Worlds, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some woke shit in this game, and they want to sell as many copies as they can before all the embarrassing YouTube videos start coming out.
Yes, that’s s]why they did it for forza horizon 5could be. But I don’t think they’d give you this kind of early access incentive if they were expecting a stellar critical reception.

That would apply to all games. No core gamer purchases a game before reviews.More like “please buy it before the reviews come out!”
lol.Microsoft is desperate. There's no need for a game like this to have a 5 day early "access"
Gamepass destroys sales

You forgot about Veilguard. It hasn’t achieved its greatness yet due to extraneous events and will start rising again next year. Avowed is doomed.People are complaining about this game without playing it. The funny thing will be if it has no competition for its genre for its release year, then the oblivion remake in 26, with the outer worlds 2 in 27 creating our moronic loop of arguments between them.
They already indicated this is going to be Outer Worlds sized endeavor. Gameplay looked meh. This is “modern studio” in modern Microsoft so you can absolutely expect some “HR in the room” writing. That's harsh. I miss the dark fantasy vibe of the first trailer but I'm still intrigued purely because Obsidian. The Outer Worlds was lame but they still have talent there.
It was even more nefarious with Starfield. It required buying the deluxe edition, which was essentially paying for the DLC a year before its release, without knowing absolutely anything about the DLC or its contents.could be. But I don’t think they’d give you this kind of early access incentive if they were expecting a stellar critical reception.

I just checked what the physical release entails. It is a massive $169.99 here in Canada, and doesn't even include a disc, just a download code. It's just the digital deluxe edition but with a steelcase and map. The artbook and such are digital. I literally LOL'd.A physical RPG release with a map! I'm in!
How does the 5 day early access work if you get it physically (Amazon)?
Code-in-a-box, yes.Includes a download code I presume?
Yeah. But it's particularly silly when they don't even include a disc in special editions. Like the Indiana Jones CE - you get physical stuff including a steelbook. But no disc to put in the steelbook.Code-in-a-box, yes.
Physical is basically dead on Xbox.
I hate how Xbox made this practice popular, charging people's FOMO to get a game on the real release date.
But not exactly shocked when they're the ones that made paying to play online popular too.
Eventually I bet every game starts pushing their release dates back a week internally just to do this crap.
Wasnt EA who made this practice popular.
The few days of early access was a legit advantage in their games, I dont really get it in single player games.
Hell i think I remember even EA Access now known as EA Play would get you early access.
Yup, because MS really need all the financial support they can get, right?...I buy all ms games with early access, sometime I don’t play they months after release, but still, showing my support.
You don't understand, we have to support the idiotic initiatives of poor multi-billion dollar corporations, because if not us then who else...Yup, because MS really need all the financial support they can get, right?...

I don’t pay attention to EA games, so I guess you’re right, but it’s usually when a platform holder makes it popular the others follow suit.
EA, Ubi and Pre-MS Activision were doing this way before MS was doing this.
Wasnt it like Forza Horizon 4 that had 4 days early access that was first from MS.
If all the big publishers were already doing it who was following who?
MS wasn’t first to charge to play online either but the other platform holders followed suit after them.
Whats that got to do with publishers already giving early access to titles and you falsely blaming MS for popularizing it when it was already popular and being done by all the big publishers. (we dont talk about Nintendo)
It looks nice, the aesthetic reminds me a bit of Tiny Tina's WonderlandsThis trailer piqued my interest. Might be a game I subscribe to gamepass for to give it a try.
I dont know man Skyrim with good combat sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Hopefully we also get to make even more extreme godlikes than we have already seen.

That’s the way to go, that’s for sure. Ge the game patched, make sure you get reviews and info for more than first few hours and get it on sale.Ill get the 100 day late access edition for 10 bucks
