Interested to see the review scores, but I'm not going to get too caught up on them. I usually enjoy watching it myself first, and seeing what I think of it. I have a streamer in mind I'm going to be watching, and usually their opinion lines up pretty well with mine, and I've enjoyed a bunch of games after seeing them play it.

Ideally I would have gone in to blind and played it myself, it would be one of those games for me. I just can't afford it right now. I can wait though, at least it will be patched more by the time I get to play it. So all good.

So apparently the ps5 version doesn’t have the performance mode option and the series x does. I don’t know if that will change with the patch but thought it should be known for people who have both series x and ps5.

EDIT: source was I watched a stream of a guy playing on ps5 and checking out the settings

So it looks more and more like I will have to wait until 2021 to get a next gen console. Should I go with PS4Pro or X Box One X?

Guys, do we have any trailer specially from stadia, and/or know what settings will be used there?

Given i don't own a console (switch doesn't count..), and my gaming pc isn't in my living room, I'm almost contemplating stadia to play it relaxed on a tablet from my couch or something.. But somehow I have this gut feeling I'd regret that choice

I really want to know how this will run on my 980 4GB, 16GB RAM and 4790k combo. Am sure the 4790k and RAM is fine but think the 980 is going to struggle.

I have a 3080 on order but it will probably arrive in summer 2021.

A patch won't do magic. They've already delayed the game by a long time. What did this game look like this spring when it was suppose to launch?

Btw there's a reason why the PS5 version hasn't got a 60fps patch yet, I believe it's due to the preload for PS4/5 only unlocking on the 8th compared to the Xbox consoles that can be preloaded now.

If the performance mode isn't on the PS5 versions leaked by the 8th, then you can worry.

Also some PS5 gameplay has leaked, I'll post it in leak thread

I can barely contain the HYPE at this point! And all of my friends too! Buddy just got a 3080 so he's like a crackhead looking for his fix at this point. I'll make due with my 1080ti for now. I'm holding out for a 3080ti.

Haven't felt this way in a LONG time! These hype levels are like new Elder Scrolls / new GTA - INSANE!

Same boat. I need that Ti fix probably 3070, but maybe 3080 dependent on how the new year goes financially ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But yeah it's been a long time since I was this pumped for a game. It's going to be a long week. :messenger_dizzy:

Just noticed CDPR said PC & Stadia releases at 12 GMT and console is Midnight local.

guess console folks won’t be playing on the 9th here in the US

We're living in the age of counterintelligence. Lots of companies can't compete with a product, so they just flood the communication channels with FUD in the hopes some will buy into it.

This takes people off the market for said competing product and opens up a potential buyer for you own. Imagine this on a global scale and you get the internet today.

Which, funnily enough, is not that different from the 3rd corporate war, in a sense. That one too was fought online.

Fair enough, it is a HUGE game.

CDPR themselves stated that, with a prepped day 1 patch its hard to find any game breaking bugs. I'll take they're word for that matter, or else there's going to be some ass whoopin.

Maybe they'll pull a No Man's Sky and make it truly mindblowing with all the post launch patches.

Hopefully it doesn't take three years to do it...

I wonder if its like the call of duty modern warfare scenario where the xbox version already supports higher fps due the how much more powerful the xbox one x was than the ps4.5 (ps4pro)?

Joke post ? PS5 runs better in every game compared until now, so of course it can do what XSX does and more. Then it's up to devs to do what they want on each version.

At 1080p 120fps without next generation features like ray tracing but at the more impressive and important 4k@60fps with everything turned on I'm not seeing what you wrote.

Anyway hopefully the day one patch will unlock the fps on the ps5.

That sign on the right looks weird to me. I'm a native Chinese speaker and you don't write Simplified Chinese in reverse order. That's the traditional way so some old trademarks do that in Traditional Chinese. Because Simplified Chinese is created after changing the writing direction, nobody would write from right to left when using the simplified characters.

I'll be honest, I was banking hard on the last reveal to be full VR support. Almost like a "one more thing..".

That would have been so sick. I guess Ultra settings with RT on High on a 32'' curved 1440p monitor will have to suffice.

I wouldn't worry. They probably added the via BC bit in the PS5 footage to further clarify that the PS5 and Series X would be playing the game via BC with minor enhancements rather than being native PS5/Series X versions.
