This is modern creators in a nutshell. It's the same in cinema, comics and videogames, a bunch of talentless pretenders who disrespect the works of actual creators.

What’s interesting is that from technical perspective the game seems quite competent.

So basically you had actually competent programmers working on this game with hacks on director, producer and writing teams.

Heck, Even environmental design seemed to have been decent. If higher ups at EA had any sort of sanity they would have fired the hacks and left the actual technical people to work on other titles.

FYI. Veilguard at historic Steam CCUs lows. It's now below 3,000 during the lows of the day. Bottoms out at about 2,600.

The price reduction during Xmas and gamers at home spiked it up. But starting this past Monday, gamer count dropped hard on Steam.

I enjoyed about 10 hours of the 50 hours it took me to beat it, I'd say.

It is a sequel that completed ignored everything that happened in the previous titles. That tend to leave a bad taste for most people because why make it a sequel?
