Max weight 310 cause max specials.
Im usually around 280
And cait has quite a bit too
I'm at the max weight of 310, too. When I unlocked the next strength-level, nothing changed. What's that supposed to mean?

Pffft, no. This looks like a five year old engine with some graphical improvements.
But yeah, I do agree they need a new engine.
trying to clear out a settlement site but as far as I can tell everything's dead but it won't let me use the workbench. Anything I can do to track down errant ghouls or whatever?
Do graphics really trump gameplay? Judging by the first day sales.. No.

Just remember not all settlement sites work like that. Some are opened by clearing the hostiles, others are opened by finishing a quest (either a static quest or a random radiant quest). Sometimes the sites that require a quest to open have hostiles there as well.
If you're confident the site is opened by clearning all hostiles, consider making a lot of noise to have the ghoul find you and checking for interior environments (basements, attics, sewers).
Well shit ):
[20 ish hour scripted event spoiler]
I must have missed the space ship crashing either due to weather or just moving quickly between areas, I came upon the wreckage just now. Oh well :
People need to stop stressing about carrying capacity.
1. Take Strength.
2. Take carry perks.
3. Wear power armor.
4. Mod your armor with pockets.
5. Pile stuff onto your companion/dog.
6. Stow stuff in a random container. Come back for it later.
and
7. There's way too much junk in the world, and limited uses for it. It makes more sense to note to loot what you need. Use the marking function.
What's everyone's average weight? I'm struggling with being 246/265 or close to that. Makes looting hard. I use Dogmeat too but might have to get the perk...
So, is this a scripted event or or this just a thing?
After killing Kellogg. Exiting the Fort. Dawn is just breaking and I see this gigantic airship in the sky. The Brotherhood is here.
Why the hell does KLEO's devastator chest piece have so much dmg rating on it?
Like it completely dwarfs all other armor.
I had a shit load of meat, melons (32 weight in melons),tato, mutifruit, you name it. Just went from 250-ish to 193.
I don't know how so many people can't get below 200. Maybe melee has a different mentality.
Can i take off the silencer of a gun and put it on to other weapons? How?

Yesterday I wanted to mod my sniper into a .50 Cal. I needed all the resources and a "Gun Nut"-perk level 3.
I then realised that you have to be level 25 to actually unlock this perk. I'm level 21....
Replace it with another mod and the silencer will be stored to use on another gun.
Go to a weapons workbench. Select the gun with the silencer, go into mod mode, remove the silencer by putting a normal barrel on the gun, use the silencer on another gun of the same type.
same caliber weapons only right?

But i have like three weapons plus a couple of explosives, full heavy set leather armor (well it's ultra light weight), another suit for charisma, and like I only keep with me essentials in food/chems that I rarely use as stimpacks will always be my first go to. I also go back to my base after every run on a building/quest, and leave again with like 112/250 weight. I'll be getting more strength and some pack mules by level 50.
I can't take lone wanderer. I NEED a companion that isn't dogmeat with me as I need someone to take the attention from enemies that also does regular ranged.
Is the pathfinding on Piper pretty bad for anyone else? She often has trouble following me up or down elevation such as wooden staircases etc. Codsworth doesn't have that issue (at least I can't remember).

Is there a way of 'placing' your power armour onto the rig for it? I feel like there should be but I can't figure it out, so I'm just having to manually position myself before leaving the suit to make it look tidy. >.<

Yes.
Climb out of your power armor. Then use the rig to open the repair interface. The suit will automatically be placed on the rig. I have many rigs at certain settlements. I should screenshot my collection, actually.
Yes.Park your power armour next to the frame, then click craft on the frame. If you then quit the crafting menu the power armour will be on the frame!
I've been playing for 65 hours and still haven't completed the story. I really should get on that.
We need a shitload of copper.
There aren't enough colors for proper shading.
I spent way too much time making this for how unhappy I am with how it turned out.

Also the draw distance isn't far enough for me to be able to see it from the roof of my house like I hoped, or even to get a better sense of the ship.
I needed ~30 of the big generators.
Is there a way to get Companion Spoiler:Piper to use the guns I give her? Or will she only use her pistol?

I forgot the setting I played Skyrim in until someone told me what it did which was make enemies 3 times stronger and makes you 3 times weaker! I was wondering why I had to use hack armor to defeat a boss at level 30 who dropped 3400 gold instead of the 650 you would expect from legendary bosses in the vanilla game.
I much like the combat in Fallout 4 so far at level 16 on hard but I deliberately started on hard knowing I can dial it up later in the game but I hope it doesn't get to the point where the difficulty breaks that... your problem gives me hope![]()
I just did that (as well as make it suppressed ) but the need for ammo is now even more real.
Is it just me or is there wayy more loot than last time. I'm about 8 hours in I must have 150 guns. I guess because they don't need to be cannabilized to repair others? What do you do with old guns then? I don't see option to break them down? Sell them?
