Well, depending on the stick, the first thing that comes to mind is this: take out the screws that attach the feet. Get some longer screws of the same diameter and bring them up through the bottom of the desk and into the feet. But not sure how stable it would be, there are probably better ideas that attach the stick to the desk.

I think the timeslot/other event stuff confounds these view arguments way too much for them to be even worth arguing, TBH. It's an extension of the usual view dick-measuring we're used to. Did we see SF4 peak earlier in it's Top 8 for instance, or still go up and up? Because that sort of hurts the bad timeslot argument too. And what about Smash getting so high despite the WC going on? I've no doubt SF4 is the bigger game and bigger game internationally though (entrants and the existence of high profile events alone proves this, some supported by Capcom Fighters some not).

World cup was mostly during KI, it ended early during Smash's top 8. And the graph shows SF4 getting a big drop midway through top 8(surprisingly, it was around the time I couldn't keep going and fell asleep... Though I never turned off the stream ;p).

Arakune, maybe? Pretty much an amorphous bag of bugs with very odd movement. His basic gameplan is to fill the "curse" bar above his super meter and to go HAM with fullscreen lockdown / crazy combos once it is full.

He generally isn't too bad in terms of execution and only has a handful of slightly tricky stuff with stance cancels and lowest possible j.2b. But his combos can be pretty inconsistent and hard to confirm due to heavy dependencies on opponent distance and hurtbox.
