r/fighters frustrates me a lot more, I've only ever made one comment in a thread where someone was looking for tutorials to use a stick and I said something like "I don't think you need a tutorial" and got downvoted twice! What a bunch of scrubs I swear to god.

There used to be an old adage about how no one learned how to throw a fireball after 1996. I don't think If you were demoing a fighting games to the gaming press and pulled 10 people at random, I think the over/under on who could do a DP semi-consistently would be 1.5. There is something to be said about that, as sad as it sounds.
Hell, I remember when my brothers who were pumped for SF4 and were playing it a bunch when it came out... and they had no idea you could do stuff like DP FADC Ultra.

Dustloop forums is one of the worst resources for learning GG, ironically. Almost anywhere else is better. The wiki's great but the forums are dead and unorganized.

I was outside today for probably a total of 2 hrs and yeah 45 of which involved waiting for a bus. It's not that bad and today was relatively warm compared to other recent days.

Like I said, I'm so sick of complaints about the cold when it really hasn't been that bad. If you're cold in -15 that's your own fault for spending your money on toys than a decent jacket.

Ya, sorry about that. A lot of brain drain happened as everyone started finishing up their schooling. And at the same time, AC just came out and was vastly different to prior Guilty Gears and that caused some people to lose interest and wait for the next (next) GG, or just plain leave.

I don't complain about the weather either way. If it's too hot then that sucks but whatever. If it's too cold then that sucks but whatever. The only time I was frustrated at the cold in recent times was when our power went out and I had no heat for a few days in my apartment.
I went to Morocco in the summer and it was 46 at the hottest I think, I have also been to Edmonton in the winter where it was around -40. The cold is way worse IMO.
Yeah, I can't stress enough how great the DL wiki is. Without it, I don't think I'd be close to where I'd be in skill level.
I grew up in Edmonton and then later Saskatoon. -40 is a real bitch for sure. I remember falling on some ice in like -36 degree weather as a kid, crying and having the ice instantly freeze to my face making it hurt even more. Sure don't miss that!

Humidity for me. I don't mind the cold, but heat + high humidity is the most disgusting thing around.

Maybe I just need more sleep. 1 hour yesterday, 2 the day before. I wish it was highschool and I could pull 3-4 hours a day consistently for weeks. Definitely couldn't feel my feet when I woke up, still can't feel them now.
