And Mathieu... you could argue there's no real value in the market for defenders nowadays, but heck, Ezequiel Garay is an international with experience, was available for 15m and ended up in Russia. Benatia was offered around and went to Bayern later in the window iirc. Juve has plenty of defenders and it's not like barca have no money.

There were a few options out there if they really wanted. I guess they didn't.

Mathieu is decent enough for La Liga, but not beyond that. And like you said, at CB, but he's been played at LB too. With Pique's drop in form they needed something more. They are content with having their DMs playing as CBs and they shouldn't be.

How do you like all them mmorpg-esque fetch quests?

I'm actually enjoying some of them. For some reason I find the game environmental art very appealing so I don't mind exploring the world. I can see how this can be an issue to others but the game just clicked with me. Also the combat, being far from perfect, is fun ( at least with a mage ).

The game clearly have issues but worth the 40&#8364; I paid. 50 hours in and I just can't stop playing. This must be the best EA game in a long time.
