Why?

Like I said, I love Z because of the massive power levels and battles.

From the Saiyan saga they are fighting for the survival of Earth and then at the end of the anime/manga they are fighting for the survival of the universe. The original series from the flashbacks seems to be mainly about fighting in tournaments and a few big bads who want to rule the world.

Plus anything with Vegeta in it is awesome. The guy is so humble he calls himself a prince, when really he is the king of Saiyans.
Although, with Battle of Gods, it turns out he has a brother who might be older so he could actually be the king

What makes the original so special?

Z is marginally better than Dragonball.

Dragonball had that feeling of adventure that Z lacked.

Also, Z probably should of finished after the cell saga.

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan of the buu saga. The awesomeness of Gohan in cell is rendered meaningless in buu. He basically becomes a nerd who gets destroyed pretty quickly, while in cell he was one hit destroying Cell Jrs, when even Goku wasn't a match for them.

Odds are based primarily on what people are betting on, so if there are good odds on say, Balotelli scoring, that's because no one is betting on that happening.

Sunderland and Villa away, next 2 fixtures. Given the performances we put in at home against those teams, wouldn't be surprised if we only got a point from both games. Not helped by Raheezus blessing a Jamaican hotel with his presence.

The original has better fights (choreography), more characters that stand a chance besides saiyans, better comedy, and a sense of adventure that was sorely missed in Z. Z was something cool as a kid because of the power level shit, but that gets old fast. Only Saiyans matter, and the fights revolve around power levels too much. Not to mention the filler is a pain to go through.

I do agree that Z has no adventure, but others matter besides the Saiyans. freiza is my favourite villian in anime/manga. My favourite One Piece doesn't even have anyone who comes close to him.

Originally watching Z, I didn't mind it as a kid, but once I was older and realised many animes came from manga, it became a waste of my time and now I just skip it.

Always been hard for me because what made Z so great was just the power that was displayed in it. From the Saiyan saga the charachters just got more and more powerful and extreme. While DB seems more sensible
