Nonsense. It's not merely coincidence we've gone unbeaten in the ten games since his return. Does all the heavy work in that midfield while our ridiculously offensive line up flatters to deceive.
One of the most underrated players in our last ten years of success. He won three league titles in his first three years, and was our best player in our last league win.

I never rated Gerrard, way too inconsistent for me. He performed well is some massive games, but you take away those two or three performances and then what? The fact is he doesn't make Arsenal's, Man Utd's, or Chelsea's best PL 11.

Usually PFA awards are given to the best player of the season. When Giggs was at the height of his abilities, he didn't get a sniff.
So, we're in agreement that he got it as recognition for his time served rather than anything else?
There's contract negotiations and there's that. He did stay. But it also puts into question his loyalty as well. Long and short of it. Difference between doing a Cole/Rooney and a Pires.

He's been recently injured as well. Because of that he missed a mini training camp South Africa had planned. Which lead to their manager leaving Serero out of the Africa Cup selection. He said players need to be proud in order to wear the South African kit, the team goes above the individual.

The Departed > Infernal Affairs. Benefits from the extra running time, has better performances, a better soundtrack and directed with more aplomb.
Fellaini's been decent in a few games, but he still does little more than offer a bit of theoretical muscle and enough hair to compensate for Rooney's.
