Can Barca loan out players during the transfer ban? Seen some stuff linking ter Stegen with Liverpool. Would be great if we can get him on loan.

It's fucking disgusting as I was saying on NYD when the cheating cunts brought him on to bail them out again.

An absolute joke.

It kind of sucks for their youth players that were banned. Their development is getting fucked. I understand Barca getting punished, but I don't see how the kids being banned is right.

These Steve Bruce quotes on Ched Evans

Bloke's obviously entitled to air his opinion but questioning the jury and suggesting the evidence points to Evans being innocent...

Also suggests 3 extremely experienced Court of Appeal judges were wrong too.

There was a woman on Question Time saying the same, that she wouldn't have convicted him based on the evidence, citing factors that the girl can't remember any of it to say conclusively whether it was rape or not, plus the fact that the first man to have sex with her before Evans was cleared of the charge yet Evans was not.

Edit - The woman on the panel was Julia Hartley-Brewer.

Do we know why the other bloke wasn't charged?

Both were charged but he wasn't found guilty.

On the facts the jury believed she had consented to having sex with him but not Ched who she had never even met before. She had been out during the evening with the first guy and seems as though she agreed to go to the hotel with him etc. Ched then turned up at like 4am for sloppy unconsensual seconds.

An expert gave evidence at tial saying that with the amount of alcohol she consumked she would have been at the level where slurred speech and unsteady gait were likely but seriously doubted memory loss would have occurred. This was key evidence at trial.

She didn't even read the fucking judgment before commenting.

Between City getting away with fielding ineligible players, rapists being defended by big names (and big heads) and De Gea on the brink of leaving us

football is dead

You are both mistaken I think?

After Tevez left...someone else took over the 32 number for a time

Unless Jarnet was referring to Diouf...in that case...carry on

Oh Diouf, just another one of Senile Fergies countless fails at signing young attacking players in his final years. Diouf, Manucho, Obertan, Macheda, Tosic, Bebe. I thik Tosic might be the only one who turned into a decent player.

Some of these clowns managed to get more caps then Paul Pogba during their time at United.

I'm just playing devil's advocate to a degree here, but if that was the case, why would she claim to have no memory of what occurred at all?

It's only with all the furore of late I've given the actual case any attention so I'm not that clued up on what transpired in court.

It's been happening for at least a year. For example, Takefusa Kubo is 13 years old and won't be able to play official matches until 2019. I think he's going back to Japan permanently.

Lee Seung Woo hasn't been able to play for a year. That has hurt his development and he still can't play official matches. He only takes part in training and unofficial games. Oh, he also plays for the Korean youth team. Next year he can start playing when he turns 18 and is eligible for a contract.

On one hand it punishes Barca for their youth business, which is absolutely fine, but it also hurts those players.

Lampard has put out a statement on his facebook about NYFC.

You might as well not come. Not a very honorable thing to do. It's ruined. We don't need that Crap. Stay there. Really. Yes we too are in constant dialogue amongst ourselves and we were going to like you but now we are not. What kind of person chooses to come halfway through the season? You either lied or changed your mind-not sure which is worse. We could do without that sort here.

That's pretty bad :/

Truly do not know. Tbf the expert's evidence assists Ched's argument but other factors in the case led the jury to convict.

However, that woman beats her own argument because if she were drunk enough to not even recall what happened then that would only strengthen the victim's case that she was too drunk to consent at all (which might be why she argued a such).

Lovren is fit for tomorrow.
I can't believe how bad he's been. I remember watching the Spurs game in August, and he played with very little composure - racing over to Sakho's position, challenging him for a header, making them both lose out, making Spurs one-on-one with Mignolet sticks in the mind - and I thought, "Oh, he'll be great when he beds and composes himself." But he's got worse. Lovren and Balotelli in the one window, I can't.
