Got back late last night from traveling to my uncle’s funeral. Always rough this time of year, but I ended up playing my trumpet during the service, and my chops actually held up! So that was pretty nice.
Today I’ve just been baking bread all day for my neighbors (xmas present thing), and just delivered the last loaf. A few of my neighbors invited me in and offered drinks, which I did not refuse. Add that to the Christmas beers I was enjoying while baking, and I’m officially sloshed.

One of my neighbors apparently has French relatives (I accidentally interrupted their family Christmas dinner when I came over) and she said my baguette was really good with perfect crust.
Being complimented on my bread by a French woman is the highlight of my year.

I think I’m gonna read the storm light archive books. I got the first one as audiobook for free but it’s 47 hours long or something. I can’t pay attention to audiobooks so I’ll buy it on kindle.
Don’t know wtf the books are about but I know a 5th book just came out so I’ve been seeing it everywhere lately.

I think I've finished my Pokemon collection (for now). Here are some of my favorites:
I'm thinking about grading the japanese Umbreon card (in between the Umbreon VMAX and red Charizard card (first picture). I think it MIGHT get a 9 but definitely an 8.
Cards that are graded at the ones with labels and are inside thick plastic "slabs".
Also some of the cards graded by PSA (the ones with red bordered label) i am thinking about getting ACE to regrade them with custom labels (ACE is the ones with large bold white 9/10). For example, the dark raichu has a very old label and it's yellowing. The Lugia PSA the slab is very scratched up so I'd like to get it put into a new one.
The old Charizard is in generally good condition for its age but some of the holo is coming through the edges and the back has some scratches. I think that'd get a 6-7 if i graded it.
ACE cards aren't as valuable as PSA but I much prefer their labels. A lot of people don't seem to like ACE and they got broken into recently so they might go out of business

I reccomand Shame (2011) directed by Steve McQueen. Michael Fassbender is in the movie. Just a warning it's one of the most sexually explicit movies I seen in a long time. The acting all around is fantastic and the cinematography is outstanding
It's one of those I'll probably never see again but it's so good.
