I can see myself gaming when I'm older, I think it's actually a pretty good activity in order to avoid becoming mentally seline.
See, this might sound as hyperbole to many but... I wholeheartedly agree.
Everything that calms you, keeps you stable/sane after a hard/tough day is good in my books since it doesn't involve medicines/medication.
For me it was always music, games and riding, I always found magical the fact that - no matter how much of a shitty day I had - as soon as i sat on my chair, put my headphones on and started a game or listening to some music everything would go away almost in an instant, same as riding, i would put my jacket, boots, gloves and helmet on and I'd just take a ride as to clear my head...
Unfortunately, I don't ride anymore (but I do miss it G'dammit) so I'm only left with music and games which...i'll take it any day of the week over having no hobbies whatsoever like most people my age (where I live at least).
I'm 46 btw.
It's "medicine" for the mind and soul and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
