Maybe fucking up Hodor (well pre-Hodor) got to him
EDIT: Also, he now sees lesser Amygdalas everywhere
Maybe he'll bring the ents!
He was talking to Benjen and Meera just fine afterwards though.

I think you're right.Well they originally wanted to do a 10 episode final season 7. So I assume we got a lot of the added stuff upfront. Now that we're on the last 10 tomorrow I think stuff is gonna move along at a faster pace.
i don't mean this in a rude way, but i'm afraid i don't know what your point is, sir.Exactly, now, but back then to assume Jon was a final 2 and Ned was done for by seasons end, no way.

Based on the first three episodes, it seems like they filmed a lot of set pieces and sparse, abrupt dialogue and cobbled it together. They could only get 7 coherent episodes out of it, so they cut it down.
Not rude it's my fault, I wasn't very clear but it's also because I didn't read the beginning of the conversation and assumed that soudscream was talking about knowing that Jon was an end game character and that Ned wasn't based off of the first few episodes alone.
Oh I see. He and I were basically talking about throughout the show especially in the beginning how certain hints and clues were put that are meant to be picked up; suppose they were but not everybody's good at finding the clues sometimes.
Finally got around to seeing this show. Spent a whole week getting to S7. What a ride of death lol. So is Theon going to do this coward until he dies killing his uncle or something? Feels like they're telegraphing that. Does Petyr finally die after everyone finally realizes he should have been dead seasons ago? (Considering how everyone in Winterfell forgets he put a knife on Ned.) And what's the odds that Dany's dragons are all killed? 50/50?

You're right, there have been so many hints especially during a rewatch but there are some things that only lucky guesses would have gotten. Like, who could have guessed that Jorah was going to get Greyscale based off the interaction with Quaithe warning him of the Doom? Going back, yep, it's right there clear as day, the only real reason she's there is to warn him and the viewer, but upon first watch, 99% of viewers won't assume that.

Welcome to the fold. I know the feeling of injecting this show into your veins for 60 episodes in a few week. Now welcome to the 7 day hell between episodes. Lol
I would think at the very least Varys would have been aware. Him and the Hound were there. It just seems convenient in this show that even when people can find out explicitly how people died, they don't know that Petyr betrayed Ned.Nobody knows this.
At least I will have stuff to chew on while we wait every 7 days. I'm also watching Twin Peaks: The Return and our thread is arguing if the plot is going nowhere/somewhere every episode at this point and some are just submitting to Lynch's crazy ride over there lol. Yeah, it was definitely an interesting journey especially for something that alot of you have been watching for almost 7 years now. It's a hell of a thing especially when you're having to wade through the more depressing aspects of the show. Thanks for the warm welcome though! I'm looking forward to seeing how this all pans out.

We Need to Talk About Bran
i don't like bran
gimme more meera reed
Fucking LOL.We Need to Talk About Bran
I feel bad for bran. Definitely has some ptsd, which is to be expected. But he has become pretty creepy and I hope we will see him become his old self, or at least just not creepy before this is all done.
Nobody knows this.
Everybody knows this.
Caitlyn went berserk at him when he turned up at Renley's camp.
He has been raped, beaten, and killed far less than his siblings.

Because he made a move on her before handing over Ned's bones.
Bran should reward her somehow. They should get married and make her lady of house Reed whatever her fortress is called
Actually wonder what they are gonna do with her character now that they are back in Winterfell. Just keep an eye on Bran until she dies or something?

That sounds more like a punishment.
until her brother died. and his direwolf. and Hodor. after that it was just the 2 of them. Meera basically dedicated her whole life to Bran, how do you not develop some feelings and affection after thatThey've been together since S3 and not once have I've seen any real romance/chemistry between the two of them. I guess you can always do the 'survivors together' angle but the show has never bothered with their relationship. In fact Bran hung out more with her bro than her really.
Those are great
but that storyline was so worth it coz the Sam/Jorah arc has been fuckin great! I loved that shit this season. i really do wonder if jorah and dany will exchange both their paths involving Tarlys. Randyl Tarly has just sworn for the queen, while his son Samwell Tarly just saved Jorah's life!
I bet Jaime won't tell her.
Yeah, if the season wss a regular season, they may have been able to devote more time to it, who knows. Maybe Sam would have left with jorah to secure the Dragon glass and John would have come after.Agreed, it's nothing in comparison to some of the other duo's. Arya and The Hound, Arya and Tywin, Jaime and Brienne etc etc. but for the short amount of interaction they've had between one another, its been some of my favorite bits of the season thus far.
The composition on this is really bad, imo. The perspective is bizarre and the roses and hand don't make any sense together.
marrying a Stark? That's huge power in the north.
