I actually tried it a bit yesterday and I tho it was decent. Will give the flamethrower a go tonight.
A quick question, how do you add steam on PS? Where do you input that HD code?

Not an expert but i don't think you can use a steam code to add people in the psn, they have to create a code from inside the game and you have to add them from inside the game i think, it's all from inside the game.

that's what I meant with HD (helldivers) code but I don't see where to input it. A few of my friends are not playing as much so was looking if some of you are still up to save democracy

I think you have to go in the search section and input the code, i only did at launch so i can't remember precisely, sorry.

If anything, I feel like difficulty feels more appropriate post-update.
Suicide actually starts to feel like suicide, instead of a casual mode you can easily walk through with a railgun and railcannon.
Because that's pretty much all you needed to take out the biggest threats with ease.

Nope, if anything it's worse than it was before after the patch, 3 out of 5 games crash to dashboard, it's pretty bad...
The have to share a code with you (say, A34578) which then you have to input it in your social menu to add them (press triangle)

Do the auto cannon rounds bounce off armor? I think auto cannon deals more damage than grenade launcher, but it is a bummer against armor.

I'm still waiting for your proof that a charger can get his armor off with 2 shots of Railgun. And yes some stuff was buffed, but the actual buff is so low and negligible that we can only laugh. What's in the example of the capture is the biggest change.

Just tell me this: for you it's normal that the biggest ANTI ARMOR weapon is not actually taking out armor and you are most likely going to kill the charger before you can take his protection off. You think that's normal and good game design? I repeat: the biggest ANTI ARMOR weapon.
You should stick to spread Democracy and not bullshit.

Soon we will get the mech. That addition alone will impact the difficulty balance of the game.
It is probable there will be more difficulty adjustments in the coming weeks.

It will very likely be readjusted with the incoming big update. Mech should be quite powerful so take it as 7 is the new 9 as of now imo

This happens with every live service game. Devs continue to tweak and adjust shit that didnt need to be changed. They are too stupid to realize that the carefully crafted balance at launch that roped in all the players would completely fall apart with the most minor of changes.
I have gone through this too many times with destiny, battlefield, uncharted, and cod, and honestly is one of the reasons why i didnt pick up this game.

Well yeah, you are showing exactly what I was saying: you need to be charged at 95%+ to make the Railgun effective. But when you are chased by many chargers and Titans you just can't. The windows were it can 2 hits a leg should be bigger, starting at like 75%. I gladly take this with no damage to HP every day.

That's the whole point of Unsafe Mode.
High risk/high reward.
The point was that it's still possible to 2-shot armor, which you had a meltdown over because you claimed it was impossible.
The weapon is fine, it's more balanced now.

Played some last night with my son and enjoyed it, but this game is buggy. Couldn't complete the first mission which was to escort some people from point A to point B. The people stopped right before the ramp to go inside the safe zone and just stood there while we defended them. Finally realized it was bugged and how to exit out and start over. Next time was better, but then when we finished and I was exiting the game.....it froze and crashed.
So far nothing that is a dealbreaker, but definitely needs some work.

Was playing difficulty 5 last night and it isn't much better than that, less tanks but equal everything else. At least I learned from that video that the Slugger is pretty good, that was the only shotgun I didn't test last night - the firing rate is abysmal and would be useless against the bugs but at least for bots it looks effective.
All I can say is thank God a new EDF is coming out later this year.

You have to aim for the weak spot of heavy armored enemies with the AC. It is ineffective against it otherwise. Even chargers.
