No wonder it’s declining

You're not as funny as you might think. You really need an RTX 5090 anything else is pointless and those are like 12 thousand dorra. Even if you manage to get one you still can't even play Wukong at 8K with path tracing above 11 FPS.
Just buy a PS5 Pro consoles have much more optimisations per seconds even more than an RTX 5080 with water cooling.

PC doesn't make any sense unless you aim for high end. RTX 5080 and 90 still can't do 4K natively at 30 FPS with path tracing.
If you're just gonna game at 60 FPS you might as well buy a PS5 Pro and call it a day.
Ok uhhh wtf are you building like that? A 3K computer right now would build you a 5090 PC with a 9600X, 850w PSU, 1tb SSD, a peerless assassin and whatever case you decided to throw it in.You can still put together a cheap build but if you want the best, prepare to pay thousands. I used to put together new builds every 3-5 years for about $1200. Now, a similar build is going to run me at least $3000 and I just can't justify that. I'll probably just upgrade my GPU and keep everything else.
what? 5090 alone is 3k dude. wake upOk uhhh wtf are you building like that? A 3K computer right now would build you a 5090 PC with a 9600X, 850w PSU, 1tb SSD, a peerless assassin and whatever case you decided to throw it in.
A 1200 dollar PC in 2017 is like 1400 now.
A 5090 is 2K, stop with your bullshit dude you're always doing this.what? 5090 alone is 3k dude. wake up
Even if 5090 was 2k... that leaves only 1k to top of THE REST OF THE PC. So stfu.A 5090 is 2K, stop with your bullshit dude you're always doing this.
Best buy had stock of the founders edition 2 days in a row for the 5080/5090, it's like saying the PS5 was 800 dollars for over a year because of scalpers.Even if 5090 was 2k... that leaves only 1k to top of THE REST OF THE PC. So stfu.
And no. 5090 is not 2k. Never was, not yet. Even hardware unboxed said that it's a paper price. Not only a thing here.
I am being a realist dude. If I was building a pc tomorrow, 5090 is 3 fucking k. So shut up and wake up. Stop with this white washing.
How can you fight facts? 5080 is 1900$. Look at my post above
Absolute fucking nonsense.Best buy had stock of the founders edition 2 days in a row for the 5080/5090, it's like saying the PS5 was 800 dollars for over a year because of scalpers.
I got my 4080 founders a few months after for MSRP because I'm not playing that game, it's stupid to pay someone extra. If you want to go ahead and do so, be my guest.
Fine then
2K - 5090
100 - Cooler Master 850 mwe gold
240 - 9600x
140 - MSI B650I ATX
80 - Nzxt H5 Flow
35 - thermal right peerless assassin
86 - Crucial 32gb ddr5 6000 cl
130 - 2TB 990 EVO
A 5090 powered PC and you have around 190 dollars leftover that you can use for a keyboard, mouse and controller.
To me I'm not counting a monitor because that's like saying you upgraded your OLED for a new console therefore your PS5 or Xbox now cost 1600 dollars instead of 500
Good build, but i would not use it for 1440p. Upscaled or not.
As always, the biggest issue stems around inflated GPU prices. That said, I just put this build together for about the same budget.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 3 GHz 8-Core Processor ($260.00 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte A520M K V2 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($78.00 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($50.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($59.77 @ Amazon)
Video Card: MSI VENTUS 2X BLACK OC GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB Video Card ($329.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($37.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair RM650 (2023) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ Corsair)
Total: $941.63
A perfectly viable 1080p build, or 1440p with upscaling.
Bad motherboard

Did you look at the build from the OP?Bad motherboard
bad cooling
mid storage
mid card
mid/bad case
Good PSU.
mid cpu
tons of compromises here to fit in 1000$. Not a pc I would build myself.
perfectly serviceable pc though
'PC gaming shows the strongest growth at 4.2% and 8.1% for 2024E and 2025E,, respectively. It’s set to reach $31.4 billion in consumer spending this year. Its momentum underscores the platform's enduring appeal and adaptability.'No wonder it’s declining

ahh ok. yes. Your build is 10x better for that 1k$. trueDid you look at the build from the OP?
What I am also noticing is.. what's happening to peripherals? Where are all the cool new headsets, mice, keyboards and stuff? It's the lack of competition, I don't buy bs stories when there's no competition.
I would use that PC. The peerless assassin fights with coolers 2-3 times as much. B650 is more than enough, I'm running a b650 in my 7800X3D ITX build right now, what's wrong with it? Nothing. YOU SAID EXACTLY WHAT I SAID YOU'D SAY! You budget for a gaming PC like this dril tweetAbsolute fucking nonsense.
b650? lol gtfo with this crap
35$ peerless assassin? gtfo
2tb drive? need another one for c: I always keep my system on separate nvme.
h5 flow? crap case sir, sorry.
So You use NON EXISTING 5090 PRICE and add up crap components to justify your imaginary 3k? That is ban worth if you ask me.
You are a liar and a conman. Why are you doing this? Why build this fake horse of thin legs man?
Same thing that happened to everything. In tech, in consumer electronics, in culture - corporations don't want you to have choice anymore. They don't want weird experiments firing off in all directions. They want as narrow a spectrum of choice as they possibly can, so that their advertising and data harvesting is more effective. What I am also noticing is.. what's happening to peripherals? There used to be so much stuff. Now Logitech, razer and the other big guys barely do anything feels like
If one day Steam ever decides to make their mobile app much more than just a storefront (because I think the entire end goal of gaming is for games to be playable in anywhere) I could see that blue line suddenly jumping much higher. No wonder it’s declining

My B650 has support for PCI Gen 5 and I bought it 2 years ago. You are literally talking out of your fucking assYou got to be a troll or you have no idea about building a pc.
These cheap motherboards have limited sysfans ports, rgb ports or bandwith limitations on m2/pci express if both are used at the same time. Maybe not as much as few years ago but there are VAILD reasons to get a better chipset board.
Stuff like dual bios, uefi installation without cpu / from usb port etc.
That's why you read a manual before buying a motherboard

No attack here at all - why did you went for 5090 and not 5080? You think that's worth it in the end?Based on sales and how many people actually gaming on PC, the platform seems to be thriving.
It's too bad that gpu's in the high end are hard to get at the moment though. Will hopefully get better soon.
I was lucky to get a 5090, and it's a fantastic gpu.
I don't think i've ever been happier with PC gaming to be honest.
There's nothing wrong with my pc, it's performing wonderfully. You're intentionally complicating PC builds to make a point here, a stupid one I might add.lol I am not talking about gen5 support.
The note was taken from b650 gigabyte motherboard man.
I recommend reading your manual and seeing how wrongly you build your pc.
But I suppose, your pc building knowledge is as real as that 2k$ 5090 you advertise so much
