Every time this bumps I refresh Amazon in anticipation.
Yep, been waiting for physical Switch version to pop up. Might even get both Switch and PS5 copies.Every time this bumps I refresh Amazon in anticipation.

Love these games and I have the nice Working Designs editions for PS1 (let’s not talk about translation) as well as SEGA CD, and the Japanese Saturn versions.
I might be a bit of a fan for these. Lunar, Grandia and Phantasy Star IV were some of my favorite RPGs of that era.
Speaking of which. Hey SEGA, where is my Phantasy Star IV 2D-HD Remake!?![]()
So how are the translations on these games? Accurate or meme-level?

Not to my knowledge. If that was true, why is Amazon UK accepting orders as of a day or two ago? I don't believe it.Hasn't it been confirmed that it won't go up for order until the day of?
I meant for US/Canada only, which Gungho is handling. Clear River Games is doing the European release. Not to my knowledge. If that was true, why is Amazon UK accepting orders as of a day or two ago? I don't believe it.
That would be less than ideal if true, then.I meant for US/Canada only, which Gungho is handling.
You are likely to feel exactly the same way about Eternal Blue. For those that have played both, how does Eternal Blue compare to the first game? I only played Silver Star Story, while very good, I didn’t love it.
Are the Sega CD versions worth playing over the remakes? Or are they very grindy and not translated well ?

Last time I tried to play Lunar 1 on Sega CD the battle frequency really killed me, I didn’t make it far.Are the Sega CD versions worth playing over the remakes? Or are they very grindy and not translated well ?
Yeah enhanced lazy programming I am sure. But all said, for all we know its running on the back of some weird engine or emulation.Just added it to my Steam Wishlist
8GB of Ram required
16GB of storage required.
That must be some serious enhancements.
I'm glad it's not a LRG release but not feeling great about this. Hopefully they print to demand.Every time this bumps I refresh Amazon in anticipation.
This is the biggest worry I have. I want them to enable preorders so they can actually see how much they need and not just make 3 copies and be all "whoops, we didn't make enough, we didn't think people actually wanted this"I'm glad it's not a LRG release but not feeling great about this. Despite my issues with LRG, they have been putting proper pre-orders for games in last couple years. This is the biggest worry I have. Watch the Amazon page unlock for ordering the day before or day of releaseEvery time this bumps I refresh Amazon in anticipation.

No joke, seriously.. golden times for this sort of stuff again seem to have arrived.Between this, Suikoden and Dragon Quest I/II, we eat good this year.
I’d kill for an Alundra remaster. Bump it out to 16:9 and add trophies and you have an immediate purchase from me. I’d pay top dollar. It's nice to see a lot of the classic 90's JRPG's getting rereleased. Hoping Alundra and Dragon Force get remastered at some point.
AMEN!Yep, been waiting for physical Switch version to pop up. Might even get both Switch and PS5 copies.

I wish I didn’t sell my working design PSX versions. Loved those packages. Can’t wait for this game.Yep, been waiting for physical Switch version to pop up. Might even get both Switch and PS5 copies.

Yep well said. They are the better games.
But whyyy. If it's not limited, why not do preorders? What is a reasonable rationale for this if someone could explain to me? At least I can confirmed stop refreshing the page every so many days or so.Confirmed no NA preorders.

Lame and gayConfirmed no NA preorders.

Yeah, I just think it's weird. If there are enough copies, what would be the reason to not offer orders prior to launch? As long as there is genuinely enough copies to be had them I'm fine with that. Though considering this game's legacy and goodies that came with prior versions, I'd hope for something similar. I miss my copies I had to sell way back during the GFC just to survive.
No preorders but, we got plenty of copies...trust me bro.Looks like GungHo America has updated their website with a list of frequently asked questions - https://www.gunghoonline.com/game/lunar-remastered-collection

I only want it if it has the Vic Ireland translation.
Lunar is good and I want to support it but the story is bland and of the time. The WD translation gave it flavor and was damn funny at times.

It would be nice to have the option - but I think the licensing is why it was retranslated on PSP if I'm not mistaken? So it's yet another translation, I think?Thankfully it doesn't have the Working Design translation.
