Wow. I legit hope they keep the VO. Day 1.
How did this just become the greatest thing I’ve ever seen?

Still hotter than any character in Concord.
GIVE IT TO ME. I WANTS IT
True to the original then.
I hope so too!
Can I disable bloom?
Worst leveling system ever lol.I replayed it recently. It hasn't aged well.. Level scaling, level up points (which you can easily mess up and fall way behind on the level curve) dungeon design and more.. the game may live gloriously in memory, but it's a hot mess by today's standards.
It needs a full fledged remake, this is encouraging for sure, but I hope they fully updated and redesigned all of the dungeons and Oblivion gate sequences as well.
It's a remake and we know how much xbox fans love those!Yeah this will be worst than Starfield.
Ohhh, well never mind about the UE5 experience then.........oddPretty sure Bethesda isn't making this internally. I believe it's Virtuos Studios.
I hope they keep Jeremy Soule for TES at least, or bring in someone new who isn't Inon Zur.
They finally moved on from that outdated engine. Now we can get some good graphics.
The HUD was changed to make it easier to understand and more aesthetically appealing to young players.
What an odd statement.
This is my main concern. Hearing it's a "full-fledged remake" with "modernized" gameplay makes me worry we'll lose out on the interactivity of the original game, for a more static, Unreal Engine world. Something pretty but not as fun to play. Not sure we can hope for much mod support either. I love the infinite fun of super-moddable games. Can this garbage engine even handle kind of interactivity Oblivion has? And what performance horror it will be in this case?
Bethesda engine doesn't have the exclusivity on physics or objects staying where you leave them, other engines can do that, stalker 2 is ue5 and has objects\weapons staying in place for example, pretty sure that cyberpunk has weapons staying in places for a lot of days aswell. This is my main concern. Days gone and rdr2 have bodies remaining on the terrain for long periods of times.
Oblivion was mostly small instances and a somewhat empty open-world. If well optimized (lol) I see no reason why they couldn't replicate those interactions in UE5.Can you pick up every object in those games? No. Pick up as in just hold it in front of you, not putting it in your inventory.
Not half. The hud was already brought down to a four year old levels..The HUD was changed to make it easier to understand and more aesthetically appealing to young players.

In stalker 2\cyberpunk\many other games objects have havok physics like in skyrim so it's just a matter of lacking a grab button, it's not a limit of the engine, devs just decided that on their game a grab button was superfluos because they have other things going on.Can you pick up every object in those games? No. Pick up as in just hold it in front of you, not putting it in your inventory.

Bethesda engine only reason to exist in 2025 is objects staying where you leave them so of course they are gonna flex the only good thing in their engine, even if in practical use, you are almost never gonna have a use other than putting 40.000 pieces of bread in your room to make funny gifs for reddit.
Ue5 trash are the best looking games on the market but ok.The reason they still use the same engine is because of its devs are trained on it, and modders use it.
Pretty sure modding is a huge reason they aren't stepping away from the Creation engine.
And I applaud them for it.
Not every game needs to be UE5 trash

That engine is done for, getting your games fixed by modders must be the most reatarded reason to keep an ancient engine that is clearly not capable to keep up with the new ones.
You are praising these dudes for being lazy fucks basically, ue5 is not the only option available.
I don't care what modders do, i don't buy games to play mods i buy games to play the devs vision, i'm not an heavy mod user (or even a light one tbh)Its not for letting modders do the fixing. But you are acting so pedantly that you probably don't even know the scope of what modders are able to achieve and create with the Creation engine.
Which seems stupid if you want to pretend to argue about which engine is beneficial to their pipeline and type of game they wish to create.
