Thank you!

I hate to say it, because I'm so incredibly excited for this game, and it's the reason I bought the Switch, but if it was anyone but Nintendo, they'd be getting scored down for being a repackaged game sold at 50 quid. The enhancements aren't that massive. The biggest thing about MK8 at launch was that the content was a little lacking which brought down scores a bit. The DLC added a lot of content plus Deluxe is adding even more content and features.
Remember at launch it was purely Mario Kart but now its featuring characters and tracks from Zelda, Animal Crossing and Splatoon. Stuff like that is a huge deal.

Yeah, same here.8 is my favorite Mario Kart, without question.
I disagree, a good Battle Mode is a game in itself.I hate to say it, because I'm so incredibly excited for this game, and it's the reason I bought the Switch, but if it was anyone but Nintendo, they'd be getting scored down for being a repackaged game sold at 50 quid. Yeah, same here.
If they nail the Battle Mode (and based on reviews/impressions, it sounds like they did)... flawless victory.
That's not true. Just check TLoU ps4 scores.

What do you base this off of? Other remastered games have been scoring excellently if the package provided is strong.I hate to say it, because I'm so incredibly excited for this game, and it's the reason I bought the Switch, but if it was anyone but Nintendo, they'd be getting scored down for being a repackaged game sold at 50 quid. Enough for me!https://youtu.be/pvkWhSPPjFo
Load times comparison. Very minor differences, but I'm still glad I'm going with digital.
You're right. This was brought up a lot for PS2 era games being remastered and sold for full price, and still is for retro games, but Mario Kart is a different kettle of fish entirely.
Best reviewed games of the year on Switch.

That often happens when you post with your heart and not your head.
Fatality.
Explain why?
i cant speak for the other games, but TLOU:Re is a bad example because it adds a very similar amount of content yet stays the same score, where as MK8D jumped 6 points. i'm not saying mk8d doesnt deserve it's current score, but something is weird

I would assume the difference is one is a modern console game barely a few years old, but where I've seen it happen before its a much older game with just a new lick of Paint over it?Fatality.

My friend had a question if he could have 3 people playing local co-op and invite me to play via internet with them. I want to say yes, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any idea on this?

Only playing Devil's Advocate, but i'm pretty sure TLOU wasn't full price. Think it was £29.99.
And MK is less than the other AAA switch game too.
