Are you guys still having issue with the app? Noticed that the layout of the MSN app is a bit different now, it has new type of buttons but the Rewards one is still there for me.

That’s either because a) you haven’t seen in the posts above that it’s now fixed or b) you didn’t update the app in the first place meaning you wouldn’t have been affected

Or, if you’d have any worthwhile experience with the program, you’d know rolled out changes usually don’t affect all users. I’m a daily user of the app and rewards program so my app wouldn’t be out of date and I would notice if something had changed.

Quite possibly - just a thread on reddit and Topher and me affected by it on here when we updated our apps - but yes like you say not everyone.
It's like when someone posts on Facebook asking if the internet is down, and the entire street could be offline but you'll always get one person saying theirs is fine.

My 279 day 'streak' has reset to zero despite having streak protection on - I thought that was what it was for?
Was unable to complete tasks yesterday due to being out at meetings and forgot when I got home was too tired (not that I need to explain!)

How much points is everyone getting per month? Im at 11k with 1 day left of the month. No gamepass points, just all the other stuff. Should end the month at 11.5k

I got 12.117.
This new rewards system is so much better than the older one. I hated having to get one achievement per day from gamepass.

I haven't maxed a month yet, but I think I will have about 3000 points a week, if I keep doing everything. In addition there will be some occasional bonus points.

For some reason I thought yesterday was the last day of the month.
This is my final tally for the month, unless I buy something later today and get more points for it. And this is without reaching the first 400 weekly bonus. Next month's probably gonna be similar or higher (less days in Feb).
5 day PC and Console ending today helped push it over 16k.

16k. Not bad. I'm happy to scrape 12k per month. That gets me either gamepass ultimate for a month or £10 to my Microsoft account.

You're not in the US right? I saw your search image earlier and you get 90 points, US searches normally get 150.
The rewards have always been more generous for US folks than any other region in the world.

It's their new weekly streaks, probably the most generous points thing they've done since 2022 or so. If you maintain a streak, you get 400 bonus points every week.
This replaced the thing where you could get 1000 points a month for doing a certain number of things like game pass achievements etc. More points for less work (but it caused one of the primary achievenent hunter guys on youtube to close his channel since it kinda killed his whole purpose).

Does it work the same way as the console and PC weekly bonus where you play a game for 15 minutes everyday? 400 extra points is quite hefty and a nice change from all the nerfs we've got over the last year.

Correct, works the same.
Does not replace it, but adds as a separate tier. So you still have those weekly bonuses (they added a PC weekly bonus on top of the console).
Like I said, they're being uncharacteristically generous right now. This usually means something's about to change in a month or two, lol.
