I'm starting to overdose on 'soon'.
Yeah for 300 dollarsoh 16 now?
All I’ll say, is that if it’s 11ish PS5 to 12ish SX OR if it’s 12ish SX to 13ish PS5, either way, it’s a fart in the wind, and we all still win. I’m still more inclined to believe it’s over 11/just under 12 for PS5, as first party are usually a bit more reliable than rando on the internet who keeps changing his mind but we shall see.
Regardless, either way, we all win, because that’s so close it doesn’t matter. Nothing even close to the PS4 and Xbox one days![]()
Yeah for 300 dollars
SarcasmI dunno if that’s sarcasm or what, I have no idea.
But either company if they released at any of those specs for three hundred space bucks, the other side will have a hard time. It’s not happening though so.

$300 XSX with a GP sub contract (you have to pay for 2 years), something like telecom schemes. I've actually seen such deals this gen with both consoles and telecoms here. Of course you end up paying 30-50% more (same with phones) but it has its advantages for some people.I dunno if that’s sarcasm or what, I have no idea.

Some journalists that i follow they have raised the prediction on 550€ for series X After the 12tf reveal
A 16tf machine Is priceless![]()
I know, I just remembered why I prefer the USB cable. You did not asked what is faster lol
You questioned you need cable.
No. You don’t need any cable to pair a new controller on PS4.
I think they know themselves that 16 tf machine is a joke lol . 12 ish is the max we are gettingAhh I see. Well, a 16tf machine is cuckoo land, it’s said by people with a wish list and not much clue on how things “work”. I would even be inclined that depending on which side of the fence you sit, 13 is as well. 13.8 is a very hard sell, due to the sacrifices you would have to make in so many areas just to get there (thermals, yields, having other areas play nice to catch up), but it’s still just in the realm of possibility it could happen. A low 13 could work.
But then I have to wonder how people are arriving at this 13 figure at all. There’s a lot of mental gymnastics on display by posters here just to get to it. And all because some person who has been caught out lying previously said something positive for a certain side, it’s almost like people are grasping at anything after than MS 12 drop.
The truth is though, that 11/12 or 12/13 is absolutely not a game changer in any way shape or form, and the two consoles would be close as damn it that nobody would give a toss. Far, far better than previous generations. But only one of those scenarios seems highly plausible due to the nature of how things all work, while the other is a bit too much of a stretch.
I would say this even if it was the other way around btw, and the SX was the one with a rumour right now while ps5 was confirmed 12.
It’s all confusing, and sadly, as I’ve seen countless times over countless generation reveals... when Sony DO speak, it’s not going to clear much of anything up. Like MS with their latest specs drop, most of it will be missing, and most of it will be misinterpreted, while others will be twists on purpose by the company anyway.
So the only concrete things to say are both machines will be fantastic, and both machines will cost a pretty penny more than usual, but not into silly money like $599 as that’s a bit too much of an ask for people imo.
If there are wires it's not wireless. Show me the wires/Elite needs contact... so not wireless.
Yo it's so funny when you see a huge Xbox fanboy giving credibility to other Xbox fanboys (the most delusional ones like this one) and believe in what they say in their delusional private universe..... YET, guys like Kleegamefan (verified person that has been in the industry for more than 20 years) and guys like Jason Schreier saying both consoles are more powerful than RTX 2080, guys like that get shitted on because they said PS5 is as powerful or more powerful than XSX.Look here guys . I like their circle jerk .lol
ps5 is shit , correct sir ? Oh indeed my good sir

I just can’t believe Sony ceo Few months back would say ps5 is for people who obsess over latest and greatest and then proceeds and brings 36 cu gpu to market in 2020 . Well he had to approve a budget for ps5 and a sentence like that sounds more like a higher budget ps5 imo and a ceo of a company gets briefed as to why the costs are high . I don’t know what you mean but the Elite controller have three wires that needs to contact with the dock to charger lolIf there are wires it's not wireless. Show me the wires/
Man, that Kojima tease really makes me think we're getting something next week.
But it wasn't leaked in a Pastebin. So I know it's not true.
Me SonGoku and TLZ all did it months back@Mod of War is this allowed?
i didnt laugh. i dont remember anyone else laughing either. we can make up rumors now??
That Kugoson CELL2 leak is a classic.Me SonGoku and TLZ all did it months back

Are you sayingThe only verified information today is that AMD leak that was actually taken down by lawyers and which is 3/5 for now. And everything regarding Sony and how they approached the current gen points to that leak being the actual story. The important thing for success is not power, but price. All that talk from Sony about wanting an even faster adoption of PS5 than PS4 (which was the fastest adoption of any console ever) and here we are having people imagine a 12 TF machine from Sony. Which leads to one thing only, a higher price.
Blur has like 3 employees and no kits. So yeah, it’s all hearsay. Doesn’t make him a liar, just doesn’t mean the info is accurate. Are you sayingGavin Stevens is another fake insider, then?
Are you sayingGavin Stevens is another fake insider, then?
Info without context and with inconsistencies sloppily posted on github (probably by an intern) could not be telling the whole story either. The fact that it came from AMD and was taken down does not imply it to be completely accurate. There is nothing, other than hindsight, verifying accuracy. Hardly "first hand" as well. I would like to read it too, have been looking for it for a while. The only first hand knowledge we have is the AMD leak.
Lol I quote this post to come back to it after reveal and we don’t hear well Ofcourse it wouldn’t be 9 tfRead statements from 2012/2013 about PS4, they sound exactly the same. And we got a low end mobile CPU and a medium mobile GPU for it. I am confused as to why people think that PS5 will be a beast based on what they know about PS4. The current gen consoles were underpowered as fuck. What we would've gotten if this was a typical console cycle is the Pro. But at launch, not three years later. It was a generation about doing away with subsidies. And Sony went and sold 105 million so far and probably 140 million when PS4 is going out of the market. Their strategy worked.
So why, just why do you assume that Sony would have any interest at all in going back to the PS3 generation, where they had huge subsidies for fresh hardware and sold 80 million? All this trust in Cerny BS is coming from the wrong assumption that PS4 is powerful. It's not. Even PS4 Pro was not, Sony didn't go for native 4K, they went for checkerboard rendering. They wanted the cheapest way to get to 4K. Again, why do you expect a company with this track record to completely change it for PS5 after the success they had with PS4?
The talk over the last years has always been that for next gen we will not see the huge TF wars anymore, everybody will talk about other things because it's hard to sell a constantly lowering increase gen over gen. Yet here we are and everybody thinks that it's all about TF. Sony doesn't seem to think so. That's why they talk about the controller and the SSD. Just as people predicted three years ago. The odd one out is Microsoft, who just talk about power. Why? Because they have to. They are not the market leader, the only way to regain market share is through power. Sony has a completely different background right now. They don't have to be powerful. They can just release PS5 and if they use checkerboard rendering to close a 30 % gap like they did with Pro and X, which had a 50 % gap (and people don't end telling that Pro mostly even surpasses X with framerate stability) that's totally ok. And not the end of the world.

PS5 is a console built the same way as PS4. A medium mobile GPU but with a more current mobile Zen 2. For the same 399 price point. And unless Sony now wants to take a huge loss on hardware (if they sell it at a $100 loss they will lose 2 billion in the first year, based on 20 million consoles sold).
Microsoft had their most success with a 399 SKU. Sony must've expected them to target that price point again for the next generation. And built a console to compete with it. A 9.2 TF console (probably 8.6 retail).

Not the Accuracy of info that this is ps5 and they make that very clear in video . Just accuracy that these were from amd testings at some point in time .Didn’t Digital Foundry verified the accuracy of the leak?
Look here guys . I like their circle jerk .lol

They explained how it's interpreted, and re-iterated it lacks context when doing so.Didn’t Digital Foundry verified the accuracy of the leak?

And why would they spend more money sourcing RT from elsewhere and then go back and design a way to interface it with the AMD chip? That's not something someone designing a $399 machine would.Which could be easily explained by them not using AMD's raytracing solution.

No, what does imply that it was completely accurate is Renoir (revealed ealy January to exist 1:1 as shown in the leak), Arden (revealed this week as XSX and completely accurate down to VRS and hardware raytracing, Arcturus (revealed as MI100 earlier this month, same specs as in the leak). We also know that Ariel does indeed exist and Mark Cerny called it the "low powered version" at the time of the first Wired article. The only thing that is making people doubt that Oberon is the PS5 APU is that it doesn't feature hardware raytracing. Which could be easily explained by them not using AMD's raytracing solution.
If they heard about it in late 2018, or even early 2019, they could just as easily have scrapped it and adopt another chip, and delay release by one year. Use the existing chip to test BC. Because hacking RT into the existing chip would have led to a year long delay, just as easily.Unless you hear about a $299 console that comes with raytracing and scramble to change your plans. Just play it though: Let's say you plan a 399 8 TF machine, expecting Microsoft to do the same. And then in January 2019 you hear that Microsoft has a 299 machine and a 499 machine, both with raytracing. How do you react?
9 TF console would not require a devkit iwth air intake/vent area akin to a Bugatti Veyron and it doesn't align with that article claiming Sony is struggling with PS5 component price either. These things cannot all be true. Would be daft of Sony to release PS5 with the same number of CUs as a PS4 Pro over 4 years later.
But why build a chip that's never going into production ? .. just use a Zen + 5700XT/VegaVII approximation PC with Phison multi-channel PCiEx4 SSD controller
2 retards. why even bother?Look here guys . I like their circle jerk .lol
