No but this is a useless magazine. Nothing new there. Print media is dead.Wait so next week's PS event is for third-parties or am I missing something here? Page 28-29 lists all of the 38 games.

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined
CU size should be liked to nm process, 7nm for RDNA 2
FIFA 21Here's the list of all the 38 games they were talking about:

Does the size of the CUs vary as well? I mean can they make smaller CUs inside SE to put more of then for more parallel processing? Or is the size of CUs fixed for the architecture?

Well, if according to Cerny that it is easier to utilize less CUs, then why AMD doesn't decrease the number of CUs while increasing their size? I mean to keep same silicon size but with less number larger size CUs. Does my idea make any sense?Fixed as far as I know (transistor count). Though these are semi-custom chips, but that generally doesn't drift too far from the standard. I would assume XSX is using the standard RDNA2 WGPs.

Clocks are harder to reach let's call it as it is when he had a huge CU advantage it was no issue. Now he has less so more CUs are impossible to program for. When the PS5 pro comes out with more than 52 CUs not 1 person who is crying 52 CUs need a god to program will say a peep. Sony just has great messaging and astroturfing. They made high TF and high CU a bad thing it was brilliantly played by them.Well, if according to Cerny that it is easier to utilize less CUs, then why AMD doesn't decrease the number of CUs while increasing their size? Welp, What will that be? I dont think its the PS5 or anything related.

Did we miss this?
does site maintenance not happen often? is it any indicative of a new game?
The PS5's SSD is so fast that the console's 16 GB of memory can be filled in just two seconds (2 GB in 0.25 seconds). So I think only needing 1GB while gaming is possible. Moment you press the home button. PS5 can dump 3GB and use it for OS features. Remember PS5’s SSD can surpass DDR3 RAM. So yeepp.I’m still not convinced on only a 1gig reserve. The dvr video being the prime memory hog.
But I can hope for some added DDR4 stashed away somewhere just for that purpose. Or even some cheap flash soldered onto the USB bus like late xbox360 models.
How does that avoid constantly writing a video file to the SSD?The PS5's SSD is so fast that the console's 16 GB of memory can be filled in just two seconds (2 GB in 0.25 seconds). After this, Nishikawa reportedly confirmed the scoop is Sega-related after accidentally letting the name slip when mentioning the company’s public relations. However, it did not seem problematic. After his slip-up was pointed out in the comments, Nishikawa said, “Did I say Sega? Then it’s Sega.” He also said it’s not Dreamcast 2.
I seriously doubt a twitter nobody will have seen or be given access to the final consoleMaybe the outline is the console shape?
As depressing at that sounds, i think you may be right.I think we'll see the actual console when they reveal the price, and I don't expect that to happen until August or September. But I mean they could also just stealth-drop it out of nowhere on a random Tuesday next month like they did with the controller.
USA is the only country where you can have a WWE gif of your president. What a land, man.

It's something related to sega

The shape was used before from the sony presentation. Has nothing to do with access. Plus it was mostly a joke.I seriously doubt a twitter nobody will have seen or be given access to the final console
doubt they’d announce and acquisition through a magazine interview. I see them partnering with Microsoft on a streaming service segas hinted about doing something in that Lane.Think it's more related with Microsoft as we know they didn't announced yet the Asian studio they talked about acquisition.

However, this is nothing new.It lists Bioshock?????? New bio shock incoming?!?
So not really +38 games at launch, more like +38 games in their launch year. Here's the list of all the 38 games they were talking about:

Was just watching that Moore's law is dead video, and he basically says that the priority levels alone are a huge jump in speed.Wow. I am confused where the increased performance comes in then. Just four more channels and maybe a few more levels of priority can mean such a performance differential? I'm probably being dense because it's late but....I'm not understanding this. I THOUGHT I had a handle on it all...till this post.![]()

With 2 priority levels, Every change on screen has a command, it needs to make sure that X happens before Y due to either this restraint or some other variable. If you have millions of commands that are only either/or, nothing else can get through, it gets backed up, even though these happen every frame, and the rate in which they're processed is still quick, it can be much faster.
With 6 priority levels, every single frame gains speed, because the commands can flow in so much faster without having to compete with an instruction before it.
That's how I've understood it, if I'm completely wrong please correct me.

I guess they will keep the good ones for the show and do not reveal them in a magazine firstSomewhat worryingly, I don't think there's a single game listed here that I care about.
Imagine buying this expecting some solid next-gen news only to find yourself reading dull one-line descriptions of A Rat's Quest and Madden 21.Here's the list of all the 38 games they were talking about:

don't like it at all. case is too small and too much going on on the case. it would be confusing for customers i think. i liked it more when it was clean cover.

"Quite large". ROFL. The relative difference is even less than Pro to X.they are trying so hard. its pathetic.
moore's law commented about the demo in his latest video.
I never got the idea why it's important "my" console is the best/fastest/strongest one in the world."Quite large". ROFL. The relative difference is even less than Pro to X.
The best part:
"Epic runs a demo on a PS5 devkit. Sony paid them!!"
"Youtubers get invitations and free Xbox gear from Microsoft to show off the new console, with nothing but praise. Sounds trustworthy to me. No paid marketing at all."
It's bizarro world.
